Game change

Awakening as an immortal being was an extraordinary feeling for both Elena and Caroline. Everything shone brighter, felt more intense, powerful and daunting at the same time.

Elena looked at Caroline, whose werewolf eyes indicated that she was fine.

"Elena?!"- Bonnie said looking at her friend.

Elena just smiled at her friend and said- "The three of us forever!"

"Forever!" Caroline said and the three of them hugged as if making an unusual trinity pact.

Sophie, who came sometime after the break of day, found the note telling her to meet them at the Marble Cemetery.

She now hurried over to the place.

Bonnie met the fellow witch at the sacred ground now finding out why they were there.

Sophie looked at Bonnie quietly for a moment.

"I thought you would actually be mad?!-Bonnie said.

"No. Why should I be mad?!"-Sophie said-"come on.."

"What is it you are not telling me?"

"Game change."-Sophie said.

"Why are you talking cryptic - it's like you knew this was going to happen?!"- Bonnie now raised her voice at the witch.

"Let's go and have a cup of coffee and maybe something to eat. I've also been busy."-Sophie then said hinting in a witchy way to Bonnie that there was something more significant than her doing an ancient spell on her friends. Bonnie now followed the witch somewhat anxiously.

In Mystic Falls, Klaus received his witch who was bearer of bad news.

"The new doppelganger has become useless."

"What are you saying?"- Klaus looked at the witch vamping out slightly and his tone of voice indicated that he was really beyond miffed.

"Her heart is filled with dark magic and her heart cannot be used for the ritual"-Genevieve said knowing that it would produce a horrifying effect on everyone close to the Old vampire, so she quickly added-" there is good news -"Katerina Petrova is very much alive and I know where she is."

Klaus' mood suddenly changed -"and why isn't she already our captive?! Don't tell me my brother is keeping her safe as well?!"

"No. She is with Celeste. She is guarding her."-Genevieve said.

"That conniving bitch. She already got my pardon."- Klaus was furious.

"I have not yet approached her with the knowledge."

"Right, let's wait. We have the upper hand in all. Destroy the witches hearts."-Klaus said smirking-"there is no need for them anymore. This is actually a very good day. It couldn't have worked better."

At the same time in Elijah's apartment in New York Elena had just handed over a bag of her pure mystic blood telling him what had happened just before dawn in the Marble cemetery.

When she was about to enter the door he had already sensed that there was a change in her. Although she looked the same, her heartbeat was faster and he knew it wasn't human like.

Elena, in her new state could now feel his mood shifts although he tried to skilfully hide them. Without words uttered they exchanged a mix of feelings of anger, disappointment, desperation and sadness.

"The same as Katerina, Elena is impulsive in her nature."-Elijah recalled Rose's words when she first reported about the doppelganger.

Rose now came to into the room apologizing for the interruption.
