I turned it off and looked at Glenda, "was that their plane?" I asked, my voice trembling slightly.

"When we drop her off, we'll go to the airport and see if we can find any information," Glenda said.

"All done," Carley said as she came in. Then the timer went off.

"That's good, the pizza is done now so let's go eat," I said, the two Chuckys came down and sat in a chair along with Carley.

"What happens if they were?" Glenda whispered as I cut the pizza.

"Right now we act like everything is fine, no need to upset her over the possibility," I said as I put a piece on each plate, Glenda and I brought it over and gave everyone a plate.

"What were you guys talking about?" Chucky asked.

"When we drop Carley off at Charlotte's, Glenda and I need to run out for an errand," I said.

"What kind of errand?" Carley asked.

"We need to figure something out, no need to worry," Glenda said with a smile.

"What?" Chucky asked.

"I'll tell you in a minute," Glenda said.

"All done," Carley said.

"You are super speedy today," I said and she smiled. "Now why don't you bring your bag up to your room and wash up," I said, she nodded before getting off the chair and leaving the room.

"Okay so there may have been an accident on the plane and we need to find out if it was the same plane as her parents" Glenda whispered.

"So after we drop her off we're going to the airport to see if we can get any information, so don't say anything to her," I said.

"I'm ready," Carley said as she entered the kitchen.

"Sure thing Doll," Chucky said. "So since you're going out can you drop me off at the hotel?" Chucky asked, I nodded and picked him up. We left the house and got in the car, Glenda drove to Charlottes to drop her off first, and then we went to the hotel.

I then got out and went to Tiffany's room, I knocked on the door. "Hey kid, what's up?" Charles asked.

"Hey, Glenda and I are heading to the airport as there has been an accident and we need to find out some information, and Chucky wanted to be dropped off," I said, Tiffany nodded and took Chucky.

"What happened?" Tiffany asked.

"Carley's parents may have died," I said.

"Oh, my," Tiffany said.

"Anyway we need to go, I'll see you guys later," I said.

"See you," Charles said, I turned around and left and got in the car, Glenda started driving to the airport.

"If they are dead that means we will have to legally adopt her," I said.

"I know," Glenda said, "and if we do you'll be great."

"Thanks, Glenda, but how would we tell her?" I asked.

"I have no idea," Glenda said.

"The sad thing is she has no other family besides her parents," I said.

"Hey don't beat yourself up over this" Glenda said.

"I'm the one that gave them the tickets and said I would care for her while they were gone," I said.

"You were just trying to do something nice for their wedding," Glenda said, "don't beat yourself up, Maya. There's no way anyone could've known." Glenda took my hand and squeezed it to try and make me feel better and gave me a smile. We pulled into the airport, she parked the car and we got out and headed inside straight for customer service.
