I saw the new jeep in the driveway. It was black with tinted windows and it looked nice. I went in and we took our boots off before I put the bag in the garbage and we headed to the living room.

"How was your walk?" Charles asked.

"We ended up going to Charlotte's house, Meredith thinks that I'm babysitting Carley while Maya and Glenda are in Chicago mourning the loss of Maya's brother who died of cancer," I said.

"But you don't have a brother," Chucky said.

"I know that, but she doesn't," I said. I took the leash off Jasper as he was laying down and seemed okay around Chucky.

"I was wondering if you would allow him off leash," Tiffany said.

"I had to be sure he wouldn't think Chucky's a chew toy and he has shown zero interest in them so I think it's safe to let him off," I said.

"Plus dad's the size of a 3-year-old," Glenda said, I put my hand to my mouth to stop a laugh from escaping.

"So when's Rachel getting here?" Chucky asked.

"Soon," I said.

"I got the blades sorted out downstairs on a table," Glenda said.

"Thanks, mi amor," I said.

"Are you ready?" Tiff asked.

"Yup," I said when my phone rang. "I have to get this, I'll be back," I said, I stood up and headed to the kitchen. "Hey Jake," I said.

"Hey Maya, how's it going?" Jake asked.

"It's going good just waiting for the day to be over with," I said.

"Me too though," Jake said when there was a knock on the door and Jasper started barking. "Do you have a dog?" Jake asked.

"Yeah, his name's Jasper, he's 8 months old and we got him today, we had to trick Chucky into promising not to hurt him with what happened to Binx, I couldn't risk Chucky doing anything to him. He wasn't too happy, but I threatened to pack up with Glenda and Carley and disappear" I said.

"Seriously Maya, a dog is what'll make you turn your back on him," Jake said.

"Yeah, hey Jasper who's a good pup," I said and petted him when he jumped up.

"Who was at the door?" Jake asked.

"No idea, I'll go check," I said and headed to the front of the house, where I saw Rachel, I smiled at her "it's Rachel," I said with a smile.

"Oh yeah the fight is today, we wish you good luck Maya, Devon told me what you're planning," Jake said.

"Thanks, Jake, tell Devon I said thanks as well. I have to go, Rachel looks pissed" I said letting out a laugh.

"There's the Maya I know," Jake said.

"I'm the same as I have always been, you just know more about me now than you did before Devon's death," I said.

"Yeah that's true," Jake said.

"Okay I really have to go," I said.

"Okay, bye Maya," Jake said.

"Bye Jake, enjoy the sun," I said, he hung up and I put my phone in my pocket. "Hey Rachel," I said, Jasper jumped up on Glenda.

"Maya, I knew I knew you," Rachel said.

"Yeah, I died and Glenda brought me back," I said.

"How did you die?" Rachel asked.

"Chucky killed me for helping Jake and Devon leave after I met up with Jake and brought Devon back and now we're all pals," I said.
