I entered my house and Glenda was on the chair so I went over and sat on her lap "hey you're home early" Glenda said.

"Yeah they let the school out early after finding a body on the trail behind the school," I said.

"What happened, you usually don't do anything in daylight on your own," Glenda said.

"We ran into Jake, and he insulted Chucky calling him a freak of nature, I couldn't kill Jake as I have bigger plans for him so I took it out on the other person," I said.

Glenda started playing with my hair and I closed my eyes, "I love your hair" Glenda said.

"I love yours too, it reminds me of fire so fierce and beautiful," I said. The door slammed open, "shit he's mad" I whispered.

"Maya, give me your knife," Chucky said.

"What? Why?" I asked.

"Because I said so," Chucky said, so I got up grabbed my knife, walked over and passed it to him. "You are on a killing cooldown, and you'll be taking me to school with you to make sure you stick to the punishment," Chucky said as everyone sat in their spots. I went back to Glenda with a pout on my face.

"It'll be okay," Glenda whispered and gave me a kiss.

"This isn't fair" I mumbled into Glenda's neck, she rubbed circles on my back to try and make me feel better.

"What did you say?" Chucky asked.

"Nothing," I said, Chucky raised his eyebrows at me. "Okay fine I sai-" I was cut off.

"She said that she can't wait until this weekend," Glenda said.

"Yeah, because we have a date night planned for Saturday," I said.

"Maya, you know I don't tolerate lying," Chucky said.

"I know, but I can't wait until Saturday" I said.

"Okay, shall we see what Rachel is up to?" Tiffany asked changing the subject, so I grabbed my computer and hooked it up to the tv.

Rachel was with Jake in a kitchen sitting across from each other. "Yeah Jake, she has people watching us," Rachel said.

"How do you know?" Jake asked.

"Because she quoted you and then told me that we are never alone," Rachel said.

"Maybe that's what Chucky cut Maya off from saying earlier" Jake said.

"She also said that she hopes you like your gift," Rachel said confused.

"I knew that was her," Jake said.

"What?" Rachel asked.

"There was a body found behind the school, male mid 30's his throat was cut with my name carved into his chest. The police questioned me thinking that I did it but I was on the other side of town with my partner" Jake said.

"She told me to leave the kids alone and if not then she would kill my family," Rachel said.

"Did she have any words such as deal or-" Jake asked.

"Yeah she used promise," Rachel said cutting him off.

"Fuck" Jake said.

"Why?" Rachel asked.

"Because she is a person of her word, you need to back off the kids if your family means anything to you," Jake said.

"But they are kids, we can help them," Rachel said.
