Everyone is gathered round outside. The cheerleaders are in pyramid formations, and the one in the middle pyramid on the very top has a bullhorn.
"Greetings, freshmen! Welcome to Honeygrade University! You may not have started to yet, but you will become a proud honey badger! This school prides itself on being academically excellent, and accepting of all people! It doesn't matter your race, sexuality, or gender identity! A honey badger is a honey badger, and we welcome all of you with open arms! As you probably know, we have a multitude of clubs, which is probably one of the reasons you joined us in the first place! We even have an LGBT+ club for all the queer folk in the community! And even if you don't join a club, we have such diverse people here that you're destined to find your own group! And if you wanna break away from clique stereotypes, then hell, that's fine, too! Just be yourselves! Gooooooooo, Honey Badgers!"
They toss her into the air and she does multiple spins. When she lands, they catch her, and she stands upright again.
Wow. They're impressive as fuck.
Everyone disbands and walks around the campus. "Wow, Raeis. They're amazing!" "I know, right? I totally need to join the cheerleading squad. The cheerleader with the bullhorn is sooooooo hooooooot." She says dreamily.
I smile at her. "That she is." "Oo! And I'm gonna join a sorority! If the legends are true, all the women will hook up with me!"
I laugh. "Raeis, I swear you have a porn mentality." She gleefully smiles at me. "A girl can dream."
We're about to check out different clubs, but I instantly stop in my tracks. I see a familiar face, adorned with a familiar fro.

I immediately start freaking out. "Take me back to the dorm! Take me back to the dorm!" I say to Raeis, frantically tapping her arm.
"Wha- Ok. Let's go." We go back to the dorm, me rushing as fast as I can. Once we're inside, she questions me. "What's gotten into you? You act like you've seen your grandmother naked."
"Silas. I saw Silas. Silas is here! She's fucking here!" "Wait a minute.......... Isn't that your bully? From high school?"
"Yes! Fuck! Just my luck! First day, and it's already gone to shit." "Hey, hey, I don't think she noticed you. She's probably not even thinking of you anymore. Relax, take a deep breath, and don't let this ruin your college experience."
I frantically shake my head. "Mm mm. We need to go. We need to leave. We need to go far somewhere and go to a different college."
I start trying to pack my clothes. She stops me. "Thessa, please calm down. It's only our first day. Hell, we haven't even met anyone yet. Please, just....give it a try?"
I sigh. "Fine. But if she makes me have a mental breakdown, don't say I didn't try to leave first."
