A/N: I'm not late. I swear. Thank you for still reading, voting the book..If only it's not that much awkward to reply to the comments though. I want to reply, at the same time..might be a little too late for that now. School starts today and I have to wake up at like 4 AM just to catch the bus leaving at 6 AM, I am lovin it..totally. Since I was late, going to post a chapter tomorrow to make up for it.

"There you go..good as new." The old man smirks in satisfaction, seeing Tommy with better bandages. From his head to his feet, it seems that the wounds are slowly getting better.

But when it comes to personality, he seems stagnant as ever, to which Philza finds it a bit disappointing. He's not giving up right there though, oh no.

The day hasn't even begun yet, he has lots of things to try to help the kid to get better. Besides, it's the least he could do.

Tommy brushes his fingers against the bandages wrapped around his arms. Under there filled with a set of short and large cuts, depicting torture. Fortunately, they have stopped reopening whenever they're treated or patched up,

"Soon, those cuts there will eventually heal and now they'll just be scars." Phil murmurs, "There's nothing so wrong about that, I hope you know that, mate." Tommy didn't react to his word, only remaining in brushing his fingers against the bandages.

Sighing, Phil doesn't mind too much of being ignored, and gets up for a moment to check something. After a while, Tommy had enough of doing the same thing over and over again, and slowly grabbed the book and quill that was beside him.

Shakily, he begins to write the words out, roughly, yet his efforts to try harder were quite visible. When Phil came back, he still tries to write the words he's been thinking about, urging to finish it all up,

"Writing something for me?" Phil asks, and the boy wasn't all bothered to give any form of reply. Few minutes pass and he hands the old man the book.

Although the handwriting is flawed and terrible, Phil managed to understand the words he wrote. He couldn't believe it took a while for him to write all this..it's only two words.

"Oh..Oh Tommy.." He frowns, kneeling down close to him, Tommy's attention is finally onto the other, staring back, "You are most welcome. It's the least I could do."

Standing up, he claps his hand together before having them on his hips, "Alright, mate, get up. We're going to make this day busy for your recovery."

At least Tommy gives the slightest motion to nod, Phil wouldn't have known if he was actually ready for this or not if he didn't.

oOo

The first plan he had in mind is for him to improve his coordination. Technoblade mentioned about the poor kid's attempts to walk only to stumble, to trip, even fall at times.

It gets to the point that he'd get bruises out of it, and that sounds kind of disconcerting. Other than having his wounds, and constant experiences of being revived, being in limbo for too long might be one of the causes of his stiffness, and weakness.

So he hopes that maybe spending more time alive might change that,

"Alright, Tommy. I'm sure you remember how to walk, we're just going to make sure you'll fall less this time. Now try to walk for me first, and we'll see the issues." Phil calls across the den, since Tommy's at the opposite part of the room.
