Now that Gellert was out of the Hospital Wing, Albus was far happier. He could ignore the snide comments from his head of house and rude comments Nicolas often made so long as his boyfriend was safe.

"Albus come on we're going to be late for breakfast!" Sophia said, hands on her hips as she leaned over the sofa in the Common room.

Albus grumbled sleepily back, waving his hands at her in mock defiance.

"Hmm, Gellert... Gellert would let me sleep."

Sophia shook her head, "Well I'm not your boyfriend. If you want to sleep in don't come back here to study with us."

Albus groaned and opened his eyes, sitting up and pouting at the other Gryffindor girl.

"I didn't just come back to study, I wanted to spend time with you guys too."

Sophia raised her eyebrow, "Sure."

"Genuinely!" Albus defended, "I even had a sleepover, I could have gone back to the Slytherin dorm but I didn't."

Stella's voice floated over from the other sofa, "Don't act like you didn't just pass out."

Albus pouted and sat up, throwing the pillow he had slept on at her head.

Stella made a noise of complaint as it hit her in the face, picking up the pillow and chucking it straight back.

Albus caught it easily and put it down, electing to pout at Sophia again, "I can't believe you woke me before her. Traitor."

Sophia rolled her eyes and walked away from the sleepy pair.

"I'm going upstairs to grab my work for today, you had better both still be awake when I get back!"

Both Gryffindors grumbled good-naturedly and sat up, Albus now wide awake at the prospect of seeing Gellert at breakfast.

Stella yawned and stretched turning over to look at Albus.

"Are you going back to the Slytherin common room for your robes?"

Albus mentally slapped himself and shook his head, "Nah I'll go back after breakfast, I can't be bothered to go back now to change into them."

Stella nodded, "Sensible." Before standing up and stretching again.

At that moment Sophia jogged back down the stairs and nodded in approval.

"Well done you two. Right, Stell I've got your books too and your robe," throwing the robes at her friend, "and I bumped into Gideon upstairs and he's going to help you move your stuff to the Slytherin dorm later Albus."

Albus frowned, "Thanks Sophia but I don't need his help."

Sophia sighed and passed the books off to Stella, "Albus he wants to help, just let him in."

Albus shook his head and turned away from the pair, "Look I don't want to talk about this right now. Let's just go to breakfast."

Sophia and Stella shared a look but neither girl pushed it, both following Albus as he walked out of the common room, talking about mundane subjects and avoiding the topic of Gideon all the way to breakfast.

When they finally reached the Great Hall Albus glanced around, face lighting up immediately when he spotted Gellert sat at the Slytherin table talking to Cassie.

He turned to his new friends but they both waved him off with matching grins.

"Go on lover boy." Sophia said, giving Albus a small push towards the Slytherin table.
