As the head's footsteps receded down the corridor, one of the boys poked his head into the dorm room. "You can come out now. He's gone away for now." Grindelwald nodded and they followed the boy into the common room. The slytherins all looked up as they entered amd the girl called put "What are you gonna do? We are being escorted to tea shortly. How is he gonna eat?" The last part of her sentence was directed at Albus who shrugged and replied "We will sneak out." The girl's eyebrows raised and she said "A mischievous streak! You should have been in Slytherin, you would fit in well here." Albus grinned lopsidedly and replied "Us Gryffindors do it all the time, I know every secret passage in this school." Gellert slung his arms over Albus' shoulders and said "That's my boyfriend! Anyway, just tell the old bag I feel ill and have gone for a lie down." The others nodded and Gellert and Albus sat back down into the old chair.
Albus shut his eyes and quickly fell asleep nestled in Gellert's arms.
Gellert stroked his boyfriend's head softly, staring gently at the sleeping boy. The other Slytherins watched with interest the calmness of Grindelwald, compared to the wild whirlwind he was when he first arrived. The girl bounced over quietly and whispered "Grindelwald, how on earth did you get this adorable boy to go out with you?" Grindelwald glared at her and hissed "Go away. If you wake him, you won't live to see tomorrow." She chuckled lightly and headed up toward the entrance to see if the head was coming back.
--about half an hour later--
One of the boys rushed down from the entrance to announce the arrival of the head. Grindelwald scooped up Albus in his arms and carried him into the dorm room. He barely stirred as Grindelwald changed him out of his uniform and into Gellert's own muggle shirt which was massive on Albus. Gellert smiled at the cute boy in the oversized shirt which clearly wasn't his, before getting changed himself and pulling the curtains shut around his bed. He fell asleep too, Albus snuggled into his chest.
--2 hours later--
Albus woke up, his stomach growling from hunger. He looked around, quickly realizing that they must have missed tea. He unashamedly shook Gellert awake so they could go and get some. Gellert got up slowly as Albus rushed out of the room. He winced, suddenly thinking about the large muggle shirt of his that Albus was wearing. Gellert quickly grabbed his and Albus' cloaks and followed the hungry boy. Albus was waiting impatiently by the entrance, oblivious to the whispers and stares of the other slytherins. Grindelwald threw his cloak at him, urging Albus to put it in. Albus slipped into the gryffindor cloak and dragged Grindelwald out of the common room.
They hurried along the corridors, luckily not seeing a soul before they reached the kitchens. Albus listened for secind before whispering "We should be ok, the kitchens are clear." Grindelwald nodded before frowning and asking "How do you know that?" Albus smiled at him knowingly and replied "I will tell you someday." He lightly ran down into the depths, leaving a disgruntled Grindelwald to follow. He quietly said "Alohomora." and glanced around using the light from the end of his wand. Gellert followed him in, and silently cast a light spell, sending a small ball of light up into the air. Albus glared at him and said "It's not fair! You have to teach me how to do that someday." Grindelwald nodded and shrugged before saying "Shall we get some food then?" Albus nodded and replied "If we are quick, we can use one if the magic bowls." They hurriedly used the bowl to make some food and sat eating it side by side on the kitchen counter. Albus broke the silence with "Your friends are nice. They are so accepting and far better than mine." Gellert shrugged and replied "We have such fucked up lives none of us care anymore." Albus nodded thoughtfully and asked"What are their names?" Gellert shrugged again and said "I don't know. I think the girl is called Bella, possibly, but I don't really spend much time with them to be honest." He looked down sadly and Albus hugged him gently. Suddenly, a noise came from outside the kitchen and Albus jumped to his feet. He pulled Gellert to his feet and said "We have to go now or we will be caught." Gellert nodded and they collected the rest of the food. He quickly removed the light and they crept away up the stairs and in the opposite direction.
As they hurried away, they heard Filch's obnoxious voice call "Come here students. It is forbidden to be out this late." Gellert grabbed Albus' hand and they ran, only stopping when they rounded the corner by the common room. As they waited for Filch's footsteps to recede, Gellert pressed Albus against the wall, hand covering his mouth. Albus gazed up at his boyfriend and when he removed his hand, quickly kissed him. Gellert swallowed his surprise and kissed him back. They walked backwards, hardly pausing to breathe until Gellert could feel the door. He pulled away briefly to utter the pssword before rejoining their lips violently. They stumbled throught the doorway, and Gellert slammed Albus gently onto the wall. They continued to kiss, tongues dancing gracefully as Albus hooked his legs around Gellert's waist, his arms slung loosely around his neck. A noise sounded from behind them and Gellert broke the kiss to investigate. He found the entire house staring back at him, a look of shock plastered across their faces. Albus opened his eyes and surveyed the room. He leant forward and whispered "We should continue this elsewhere." Gellert nodded and quickly manoeuvred his way across the floor, still carrying Albus. The door to the dorm room slammed shut, before hurriedly reopening. Grindelwald stuck his head out and said "Don't come in here please." The other slytherin boys all replied "Yeah, don't worry about that. We will not be coming in for a while yet." His head disappeared and the whispers started up straight away.
