A cute date in Hogsmeade

Grindewald woke first, and looked lovingly at his sleeping boyfriend. Albus snuggled up to him and Grindelwald kissed him lightly on the head. Albus blearily opened his eyes and smiled sweetly. He stretched and sat up. "We should probably go." Albus said sadly. Grindelwald nodded then his eyes lit up. "Today is the day of our Hogsmeade visit!" He said happily. Albus grinned and replied "Where should we meet up?" Grindelwald thought for a moment then said "Outside Hogwarts? We can just avoid the teachers." Albus nodded and they both got up and quickly got dressed. They kissed quickly by the door before hurrying away in opposite directions.

The visit came around quickly and after throwing on his cloak, Albus hurried outside to see Gellert. He snuck away from his friends and ran lightly across the snow. He spotted him with his back turned, looking out across the forest. Albus smirked to himself and ran faster, before throwing himself at Gellert. They both fell to the floor, Albus laughing maniacallly. Grindelwald spun round and tickled Albus mercilessly. Albus writhed around giggling and calling out for Gellert to stop. He tried to fight him off with both hands, Grindelwald captured both his hands and slipped on the wet snow. Their foreheads bumbed together and they stared into each other's eyes. Albus smiled softly and whispered "I love you, Gellert." Gellert smiled back and whispered "I love you too." They kissed softly until they heard Filch's voice in the distance "Come here Mrs Norris, who did you see?" Grindelwald shot to his feet and hurriedly pulled Albus up. They ran away quickly, feet crunching on the snow. They arrived in Hogsmeade panting, and collapsed in the snow. Albus leant on Grindelwald breathlessly and said "We need to stop hanging out in places we have to run away from." Gellert laughed quietly and slid his arms around Albus and they hugged. As soon as they could no longer feel their legs, Albus stood up and brushed the snow from his legs. Grindelwald sat and watched him adoringly. Albus turned round and glared at Gellert. He said accusingly "What are you looking at?" Gellert smiled and replied "The love of my life." Albus frowned and flicked snow at him. He said "Stop trying to guilt trip me." Grindelwald laughed and clambered to his feet. He shook his cloak to get rid of the snow and held his hand out to Albus. "Shall we?" He said, Albus smiled and took it. "Lets go! I wamt to go to Honeydukes first." He replied. Gellert nodded and they walked down the last part of the slope, hands hidden beneath their cloak. It was well-known within the school that the two boys were friends but the rumours of their dating life always remained just that.

They arrived at Honeydukes and Albus ran inside. He excitedly ran between the shelves, trying to decide what he wanted to buy. Grindelwald watched his boyfriend happily. He quickly bought a large, yellow lollypop and hid it under his cloak. Mrs Flume watched Gellert watching Albus and smiled to herself. She leant over the counter and whispered to him "You truly love him don't you?" Grindelwald replied "he is my everything." Before starting and quickly stuttering, trying to cover it up. Mrs Flume laughed and said cheerily "Don't worry dear, your secret is safe with me." Albus wandered over as she said that and asked "What secret?" Grindelwald laughed and ruffled his hair. "Don't worry about it." He said quietly. Albus pouted but didn't ask again. He payed for his sweets and they walked out, hands once again concealed underneath their cloaks.

They wandered in and out of the other shops, casually avoiding their classmates. Albus quietly ate his sweets, occasionally offering the bag to Gellert. Suddenly, Albus said "We should tell our friends you know." Gellert nodded and replied "We should. But what if they don't accept it?" Albus nodded slowly. He sighed sadly and said "Yeah... they might not. I think most of the school thinks we are dating though." Gellert laughed slightly and nodded. He suggested "Let's go to the Three Broomsticks and we can talk over what to do." Albus nodded and they headed over, the snow beginning to thicken. They ran the last few feet to escape the brimming snow storm. Grindelwald ordered them both butterbeer and they huddled together in a secluded corner. Albus leant his head onto Gellert's shoulder and Gellert lightly played with his hair. They remained like that until some of the slytherins tumbled in through the doors of the pub. Albus jumped away from Gellert as they all piled into the seats opposite. One of the girls tried to steal a sip out of Albus' drink, only to be stared down by Grindelwald. She meekly put it back down and graciously apologised. Suddenly, the head of gryffindor apparated into the room. He looked over the students and announced "Due to the bad snowstorm, each of you will be apparated back to Hogwarts by your head of house. Thank you." He glanced around again and spotted Albus sat amongst the slytherins. "You, boy. Stay away from the slytherins. Come i will take you back first." Albus' shoulders dropped and he slowly stood up. Their hands brushed underneath their cloaks before the head seized Albus' wrist and apparated them away.

Later on Albus was wandering through the corridor when he felt Gellert's hand grab his own. He was pulled away down the corridors from sight. Albus asked "Where are we going?" Grindelwald smiled and replied "To my common room." Albus dug his heels into the floor and pulled a face "I will be told off and besides, what will your friends think?" Grindelwald chuckled and replied "Firstly they never check the common rooms for students and secondly they don't care. I swear to god half of them have already figured it out anyway. Now come on!" Albus gave in and allowed Gellert to drag him down toward the slytherin common room.

When they arrived, Gellert collapsed into a chair and pulled Albus down into his lap. Albus snuggled down into his arms and swung his legs over Gellert's. He leant his head back against Gellert's collarbone. The girl who had tried to steal Albus' drink earlier looked over at them and said "Your boyfriend's cute Gellert. Gellert's boyfriend, your cute." Gellert smiled and said "Thanks. He is, isn't he." Albus smiled and shut his eyes. Suddenly, the voice of the Slytherin's head of house sounded down from the entrance. Everyone looked at Albus and Gellert. He muttered "Shit." And hurriedly pulled Albus up to his dorm. The head of house called down "Who are you all trying to hide?" The other slytherins all called up "No-one Sir." The head looked suspicious but said "All houses are not to leave their common rooms due to the bad weather. Anybody caught in the corridors will face harsh punishment." The monotone "Yes sir." Echoed around the room and he left. Gellert and Albus looked at each other and Albus said "Well I guess I'm going to have to stay here tonight." Gellert nodded softly and replied "I suppose you will."
