Shanell
9pm"Shanny, stop."
"Stop letting it get to you."
"I can see it all on your face, best." Bianca said to me as I sat in the passenger seat of Lima's car, texting Cain about what had just went down.
I can't lie, I'd already overly thought about the situation to the point where I needed to address what was said about him.
I'd told myself that I wasn't going to because I knew Cain, he wasn't a cheater and he'd been putting in a lot of work these passed two years. So I wasn't going to completely disregard that but I needed answers.
I needed to know if what was said was true or not because I was hearing new names like, Yebba, a girl I'd never even heard of before.
On top of the fact that he could've possibly had my daughter around those bitches, when we were apart those two months. So, if that was the case, it was going to be a problem.
He knew I didn't play about my child.
I didn't even tell him what was said as yet but I'd told him about the fight and he was so mad at me that he'd told me to come straight to him after leaving the hair salon.
So now, we were on our way to the family block party and he was already there waiting for me.
"I'm not letting it get to me, Bianca." I finally put my phone down after reading Cain's angry messages.
"But I need to know." I admitted to them, looking out of the window now.
"Look, Shan." Lima spoke up, making me slowly look over to her as she drove.
"You're about to start a situation with my brother because of what a hoe said, sis."
"I'm telling you, it's not worth it." She went on, looking at me with empathetic eyes.
"Y'all are doing good, yall been doing good for two whole years now."
"Y'all are only down here for the day. Don't worry about what a bitch has to say."
"They obviously couldn't wait to say this considering it's been two whole years and now they want to bring this up?"
"Exactly." Bianca butted in loudly.
"Why didn't they bring it up that night we was all fighting in the parking lot?"
"Because they're lying." Lima spoke seriously to me, turning her lip up at the situation.
"Even if they were telling the truth, Shan, that was two years ago and y'all were both being petty." Bianca ended up saying as I turned around to look at her.
"No. No." I shook my head in disagreement with knitted eyebrows.
"It doesn't fucking matter how long it's been, Bianca."
"If he had my daughter around those girls-" I started but stopped, feeling my anger seeping through me as I slowly closed my eyes.
"If he my daughter around those girls, it's going to be a problem." I spoke seriously, trying my hardest not to think the worst.
We were doing way too good before coming down here but if this was the truth then maybe I needed to come down here and find out this information.
Because he was never going to tell me if I hadn't.
"And it's sort of my fault because I never asked him about what he did when we were apart—"
"—more so because I didn't really care." I expressed to them.
