"Shanny!"

"Wake up!"

"We have to get up and get ready for work." Lima called, knocking on my room's door as I opened my eyes slowly, feeling a huge headache coming on.

"Shanny!" She called again as she banged loudly and my head felt as if it was banging right with her.

"Ok, Lima!"

"Damn, I heard you." I called back to her as she finally stopped and I stretched my body out before sitting up completely.

It'd been about three months since everything had went down with Cain and I and that crazy ass night I had. Ever since then, Lima and I have been living together and from what I've heard, Cain has been in the streets heavier than he ever has.

Robbing banks left and right, robbing people left and right, stealing cars, selling drugs and it was all over the news with the mess, we all knew that he and his brother were creating.

I couldn't care or be involved anymore though because he'd completely humiliated me and that was something that I'd never forget.

He'd took things way too far so now here we were.

Broken up and co-parenting as best as we could because half of the time, I didn't even want to talk to his ass. I barely even read his messages, I just sent what I wanted to say and closed out of the thread.

I was through with his ass completely.

"You dressed, sis?" Lima then asked through the door, breaking me away from my thoughts.

"Yeah." I spoke softly before she opened the door and came inside.

"Good morning, sis."

"You cool?" She asked me and I nodded my head before slowly standing to my feet.

"Yeah, I'm alright." I couldn't help but to smile.

When I did, she looked at me and she couldn't help but to laugh.

"Last night was fun right?" She went on saying and I looked over to my nightstand that had a red cup sitting on it.

"Girl.." I trailed off, not even remembering most of what even happened last night.

I was way too drunk to remember but this hangover now was definitely reminding me.

"I'm inviting them over again tonight too, Shan."

"I just wanted to let you know now." She went on saying and I slickly rolled my eyes at the thought of her friends coming over again tonight.

Cain and Delante called themselves cutting her off completely after everything went down, so now Lima was paying all of her own bills and if it wasn't for us working at the hospital, she wouldn't have a place to live either.

So now I was only here because I was helping her with bills, going half and half with her every month on the rent.

All while she'd called herself befriending their enemies.

I didn't know these guys well but they were some guys that Cain and Delante called themselves having beef with a while back from a few blocks over.

They'd all ended up squashing it though considering guys never let things linger on too long but the way Lima was moving right now, the beef was about to be reheated.

She had them in this house every other night, fucking one of their homeboys, all while most of them tried to get with me, knowing exactly who I was.

They knew that I was the mother of Cain's child so that fueled them even more to want to get with me. Which was a first for me, considering once people found that out, they wouldn't even want to be around me.
