PETE.

"Pete, are you okay?" I hear Nop's voice, he was the one who took care of me and Kinn's grandson, Venice, who was a very cute baby.

"Yeah, I'm fine. Sorry, I just wanted to see if you're okay." I tell him and he nods his head in understanding.

I still didn't remember what had happened to me, but somehow, I knew that I had a connection with this child and from what Porsche explained to me, I had taken care of him after the child's parents died. Venice was sleeping peacefully in his crib, he looked like a little angel, which made my heart beat fast. A few days had passed and since I was last at the hospital, the doctor told me that it would be ok to go to a quiet place and focus on my memories, but somehow, I was afraid to go alone and I didn't know who to take with me

"Oh Pete, what are you doing here?" asked Mr. Tae, who just appeared in Venice's room, holding some bags of clothes.

"Mr. Tae, I came to visit Venice, I wanted to see how he is doing." I tell him and he smiles at me.

"I suppose well, lately from what I was told when I came, he was very whiny, probably because everything is a change for him, but tell me please, what are you doing, how are you feeling?"

"Physically I'm fine, but I still feel dizzy because of my memory."

"What does the doctor say?" he asks me and I explain the situation to him. "Oh, how about I go with you, together with Venice and Nop, like on a little trip, I know the perfect place, what do you say?"

"Are you sure? I don't want to disturb anyone." I tell him, trying not to show that I would very much like to go, I didn't want to think that I was desperate.

"Yes, of course. If you want, we can leave today, right Nop?"

"Of course, sir."

"Very well, then run and pack your clothes, Nop will take care of Venice, and I will talk to Porsche and Kinn."

"Thank you, Mr. Tae." I tell him and leave the room happily, for the first time with hope.

TAE

"Nope, get ready to go to Vegas' vacation home, the one he and Pete went to after Vegas recovered from the car accident."

"Do you think it's a good idea to take him there?"

"We have to wake up his memories and there I think it's a good idea, I'm going to talk to my friends, please take care of the luggage."

"Anything for Pete."

"Did you get to see him?"

"Mr. Vegas left him in my care and look what happened, I have to bring them both back before it's too late."

"You know where it is, don't you?" I ask him and Nop stares at me. "You don't have to tell me where it is, I just want to know if you know."

"Yes, I know and unfortunately I can't say it, I wouldn't say it even if Boss Kinn tortured and killed me, I made a promise."

"Why did Vegas do this to him, Nop?"

"I don't know. That wasn't the plan."

"So, it was a plan, that's good to know. When I find Vegas, I'm going to kill him with my bare hands."

I say to Nop as I leave the room and go to Kinn's office, from which of course screams could be heard. Kinn and Porsche were no longer on good terms, they argued frequently, even several times a day, especially because Porsche blamed Kinn for the situation and somehow I thought the same but I couldn't say anything, I didn't I wanted to intervene in the situation of my friends without having evidence, plus there was the situation with Shino, who, like Kinn, was hiding something from me. I open the door not caring about their argument and I smile when I see the two, who had a little time left and were killing each other with their looks.
