After a year.

It had been a year since my life with Vegas started again after the episode with my memory and everything was going perfectly. My relationship with Vegas was perfect, Venice was already 2 years old, Kinn and Porsche were happy and Tae and Suno had a perfect family in America with Yamato, who was going to turn 7 in a few days. Tae had announced that he would come to Thailand to celebrate Yamato's birthday, this because the boy wanted to meet Venice and us, but also because he did not want to go to Japan, to his father's house. Macao and Che were also in America to study, in fact Macao and Suno were very close, probably because they both had the same kind of brother, while Kim commuted between America and other countries, to look for Khun who was still missing.

"What are you thinking my love?" Vegas asks me, hugging me from behind.

I was in the garden, where Venice was playing in the huge sandbox that Nop had built just so that Venice would have a place to play, he was in the phase where he loved playing in the sand, with his bucket and shovels, making the morning until evening sand castles.

"When will Tae arrive with Yamato and Suno?" I ask Vegas.

"From what they told me, he will arrive in Thailand in two days, this is because Tae's parents miss them very much and want to meet their grandson. Although somehow Yamato is not Tae's son, they accepted him like a grandson."

"Do you think it would be good to tell them that the two of them will make an appearance at the party?"

In a few days, in addition to Yamato's birthday, there would also be a fashion show for Tae's collection, where Shino would also appear together with his wife, Marie, who had given birth to a daughter a few months ago. Out of respect for Tae, me and Vegas, but also Kinn and Porsche, didn't go to meet her, because we didn't want to upset our friend more. The collection was very important for Tae, because besides the works of his friends, whom he helped, it was also about his works, works very important to his soul.

"We can't prevent the situation, Pete. Suno already knows, but chose not to inform Tae, probably because he knows Tae is still suffering."

"Macao yes, Che no. He will accompany Kim; it seems he found a track for Khun."

"Mama." I hear Venice coming towards us, walking with small steps. "Papa, up." says and Vegas rolls his eyes but lifts Venice in his arms, letting him fill him with sand.

"The little monster filled me with sand, now I have to change again." grumbles Vegas.

Vegas still calls Venice the little monster, probably that's what he'll always call him, but he loves him, if he didn't love him, he wouldn't get close to them. Vegas takes Venice and they go to the playground together while I sit back on the couch and watch the two of them, remembering a situation from a few months ago.

Flashback (a few months ago)

I entered the company full of bags, I had gone shopping with Porsche, he had had a fit of jealousy because of Kinn and one of his former partners, Porsche caught them in Kinn's office at the company, almost on top of each other, so he called me and we went shopping together. Because Nop was busy with a special mission given by Vegas and since I didn't really trust other guards, I let Vegas take care of our son while I took care of Porsche.

"Ah, I'm so tired," my friend says and sits down in his office chair while I sit on the sofa, slamming the bags on the floor.

"I think I exaggerated with the Porsche purchases, I bought so many clothes and jewelry, when Kinn and Vegas will see the bills, there will be a crisis."
