Ophelia O'brien and Richard Bowen had been neigbors and best friends their whole life. As long as they can remember they lived next to each other, every memory they had the other was a part of.
The two were attached on the hip, You would barely see them without the other, they were always together with Red rigtht besides them.
Ophelia and Ricky were always there for each other, if it was from something small like having an off day or till the fact your parents are seperating, they were there with the each other every step.
When Ricky was 14 he had come to Ophelia for advice like he always did, and she always was glad to help but for some reason when he told her what was happening she felt an odd feeling she never felt before.
He had come to her because he wanted to ask Nini out, Ophelia loved Nini, the two were friends after all but for whatever reason she didn't want them to be dating.
She also knew that Nini likes Ricky, she had spilled it one day, but she just brushed it off. Afterall she didn't expect Ricky to like her back, till he did.
However being the good friend she was she helped Ricky prepare to ask Nini out.
When he left she still had that feeling in her chest, after thinking about she finally realized what it was, Jealousy.
She was jealous because she had an crush on Ricky Bowen.
Now two years later, Ricky and Nini are broken up, and Ophelia is hoping that maybe this year will be the year her crush of two years will like her back.
