RICKY DECIDED TO IGNORE WHAT HE FELT FOR OPHELIA, WHATEVER THAT MIGHT BE. He rather ignores it then act weird around her which makes her think he is mad at her. Which he really isn't.
He barely could get mad at her, that always had been an problem. He would always forgive her not even ten minutes later or simply tells it's okay and it wasn't an big deal.
Like when they were 6, Ricky had wdnt to the mall with his parents and got an teddy bear from them, it even had glasses and shoes. (Which were always untied.)
One day Lia came over and immediatly fell in love with the stuffed animal, and when she left she simply devided to stuff it in het bag when he wasn't looking.
Yeah, six year old Ophelia really stole an stuffed animal from her best friend.
However nlt even an hour later the girl felt bad and decided to return it to her best friend, so she went back to his house and immediatly made her way to his room, the bear in her hands.
Ricky, who then was looking for the bear he adored a lot, seeing he got it with glasses and all, was quite upset his favorite stuffed animal was missing.
When Ophelia appeared in the room with teh animal in her hands, head down as she was embarrased by the fact she just took it.
However Ricky simply gave her a smile and told her it was fine and he didn't even liked it that much.
Which was an complete lie by the way, but seeing the fact his best friend who was as innocent as ever stole it from him, he decided she must've liked it a lot, more then he did and decided she could keep it.
And now, ten years later the bear is laying on her bed, between her pillows and they had named the stuffed animal Franklin.
He always had had an soft spot for her, wether he liked to admit it or not. It is the truth.
"So, you guys got the leads once again." Gina says as the group is sitting around an table in the cafataria. "Who's surprised cause not me."
Ophelia playfully rolls her eyes at her friend, "You guys are forgetting that Nini and Ej got leads aswell, they play Tanner and Lela."
Ej and Nini had gotten the parts of Lela and Tanner, Ever sknce high school musical Nini hadn't had an important part in an play, and now she finally did.
To say that Nini is happy is understandable, but all the others are happy for her aswell, obviously also for Ej.
"Yeah, and you finally can ditch that harnass." Nini says, eyes focussed on Ricky.
Ricky van grimaces at all the memories of the thing, seeing Todd for the first time, breaking his wrist. "And I hope I'll never see it again."
"Litteral deadtrap." Ophelia agrees. "Just looking at it scream bad luck."
The rehearsals are starting next week, they did the readtrough last night but Miss Jenn decided to wait till mknday to start rehearsing.
When the bell signals them to go to their next period, the group splits up as they make their way towarda their next classes, some shared some not, Ophelia has the luck her best friend is in this class.
"I really have the urge to ditch." Lia announces as the classroom comes closer in sight.
Ricky wtaps an arm around the brunette to make sure she doesn't run off. "Not happening, remember the last time we ditched?"
The last time they ditched they decided to call in sick for the last two periods and just go to the mall, hkwever ywhir they ran into one of their teachers who snitched on them, their parents were called, they had an lot of essays to write and detention for a week. Beskdes tagt they got grounded aswell.
That week was probably one of the most terrible weeks of their lifes, atleast it felt that way, not being able to see their friends nor each other outside school, and the whole day all they did was schoolwork.
"We just have to make sure to not run into an teacher again and we should be good to go." Ophelia exclaims with an sweet smile.
"Nope we are going go follow all or our classes today." Ricky drops his arm kff her shoulder and pushes her softly into the room.
Ophelia rolls her eyes with an groan as she walks towards her seat, Ricky sits down next to her right.
"One day you'll thanke for this." Ricky jokes in a whisper as the teacher started explaining.
Ophelia smiles at the High School Musical refference, an soft giggle escaping her lipgloss covered lips.
"Ricky, Ophelia care to pay attention to the class instead of yourselfs?" The teacher interrupts their conversation.
Ophelia her head snaps toaarda the front of the room where the man is standing, arms crossed infront of his chest.
Ophelia nlds her head, even rhiygh she knows she'll probably look at him the whole class or just think about it.
Ophelia hates chemistry, but Ricky Bowen makes it a little better. Okay, a bit more them a little.
