Christina' s POV
March 1980, Los Angeles
"Your performance is in a couple of minutes, so you know everything?", Brian asked.
"Yes, I do. I have to open the show and talk a little and then drink some coke.", I replied.
"Good, you got this!", he said and we went backstage.
"You're up in a minute Miss Grimmie.", a man from the organisation said.
I went on stage and performed my song "Not Fragile".
Michael's POV
Quincy and I were walking to the hall where the Award Show were presented.
I was hoping to see familiar faces.
Music began to play. A familiar song and a very familiar face appeared.
"Ain't that the girl you have a crush on.. uh.. Christina?", Quincy said.
"W-what.. I uh.. I really like her but that doesn't mean that... uh..oh boy.", I stuttered.
"I got it, Mike. Go and get her tonight.", Quincy laughed.
"Welcome to the American Music Awards! How are you doing?", Christina shouted after she performed in her short silver dress.
The crowd was cheering.
"That's good. So tonight we have a huge sponsor, which is Coke.", she explained and a woman with a cup of coke walked up to Christina.
"So this is the coke which your fans created for you, Christina.", the woman said.
"Oh, awesome.", Christina laughed.
"In there are many coke shades like cherry coke, regular coke and so on, have a sip."
Christina took a sip.
"And how does it taste?", the woman asked.
"Great, you can really taste the cherry, i like it!", Christina answered.
"That was Christina Grimmie everybody!", the woman said and the crowd cheered again.
Christina went down and some interviewers were right in front of her.
I couldn't wait to talk to her.
Christina's POV
"Christina, can I ask you some questions for our TV show?", a woman asked.
"Yeah, sure.", I replied.
"So you are nominated today, how do you feel?", she started.
"I am really excited, I am looking forward to see some people again.", I answered.
"Who for example?"
"Uhh.. many artists uhh.. like Michael Jackson.", I replied shyly.
"One of your favorite singers?"
"Yes, definitely!"
"Thank you for the quick Interview.", the woman said.
"Every time!", I smiled.
I saw Brian and I walked to him.
"Oh Christina, hey. You did great up there, you have to change now for the red carpet.", he explained and led me to the change room which was reserved for me.
I changed my silver dress to my red dress and changed my necklace and shoes.
My Make-Up and Hair were already done.
