Harry's pov- (chapter 33)

Why'd I say that? I don't even know her! But she's so gentle, and kind. She's beautiful, and so fragile.. I just want to protect her. She's in a bad patch right now, there's something eating at her. I want to help her, make her feel better. She's a delicate porcelain doll.

Looking down at the delicate girl, curled up in her quilt, I take in her features. Her brown curly hair, caresses her face and flows onto my chest. Her hair is soft, and smells like watermelon. Her facial expression is relaxed, her dimples show as she smiles in her sleep, and her beauty mark above her lip is magnificent. Her hands are in fist, as she holds onto the quilt, not wanting to let it go. She's curled up in a ball, like how some babies would sleep, making me care about her more.

"Ela. Zayn's here, and your brother's thirty minut-" Niall starts to say, as he enters the room, before seeing Ela and I.

"Shh." I whisper. Glancing at Ela, I'm shocked to see she's still asleep.

"Okay. Well I'll go order some pizza." Niall shrugs, slipping out of the room.

"Mmh. Don't go." Ela mumbles in her sleep, before stirring and waking up.

She goes to lay back down, but stops when she remembers what happened.

Sitting up abruptly, Ela's eyes are wide as she looks at me.

"I'm sorry." Ela whispers. Tears are flowing down her face, before I can figure out what's going on.

"Hey. Hey. Don't cry. Please don't cry." I whisper. Pulling her into a tight hug, and rubbing her back.

"You shouldn't have, had to deal with that." Ela hiccups. The pain, and regret in her voice basically shouts at me.

"It's okay, I don't mind. My friend use to have anxiety attacks all the time." I console Ela, hugging her tighter to show her I understand.

"Thank you." Ela hiccups. Her body relaxing, as she realizes she didn't scare me off.

"What caused this to happen?" I ask her, as she sits up and wipes her eyes.

"My friends pregnant, my mom's dead, and you got hurt because of me." Ela lists off the things, that sent her over the edge.

"Hey. It's okay. It's not your fault." I reply, hugging Ela again.

"Thanks. Umm... I should go wash up." Ela mumbles, slowly standing up.

"Okay. I'll be downstairs." I state. Hesitating before heading down.

"Hey, mate" Zayn greets me, as I enter the living room.

"Hey!" I reply, giving him a bro-hug.

"So how is thee fair lady?" Zayn asks, laughing as he sits down.

"Better." I hear Ela reply from behind me. Her voice is quiet, but still surprises me, and causes me to jump.

"Well it's nice to meet you." Zayn laughs, bowing like a prince would.

"You too." Ela smirks. Sitting on a rocking chair.
