Brooke's pov-

"Why would you do that!?" I hear Derek scream, as two frightened girls run into my room.

Their faces are drained of color, the bright radiant doe eyes now dull and distressed. Their bodies tremble as they search for the sight of me. Once they notice me their eyes spark with a ray of comfort. At once their small feet make a scuttle towards me.

"Hey it's okay." I comfort them, as they climb under the blanket with me.

Their bodies tremble next to me, their little hands and feet like frozen icicles against my skin. Their tiny souls wanting warmth, in the time or fear and discomfort.

They were smart enough to close the door, but not enough to watch what they jumped on... Me.

"Ow!" I whine, causing them to hug me.

"Sorry!" They both chorus, squeezing me like I was a teddy bear.

"It's okay." I squeak, ruffling up their hair.

"Derek and Liam-" Aurora starts telling me, what happened but breaks down in tears.

"Are fighting." Belle finishes Aurora's sentence, before hugging her.

The fear in their eyes stabs me in the heart, the fact they're afraid of two of the few people, who are supposed to protect them horrible.

"Careful!" Squeaks Aurora. As I head out the door, and into the chaos.

The sight in front of me is horrifying. Liam is slouched on the floor with blood gushing from his nose, while Derek leans against the wall. His eye is swollen and beginning to bruise, his nose and lip are cut, while his knuckles are bruised. Looking further down the hall I see Cody, the thing is he's unconscious with a black eye.

"Are you guys crazy!" I whisper scream, not wanting to frighten Aurora and Belle, as I run to Cody.

"Carry him to the couch!" I order, before running to get first aid supplies.

I don't know what's gotten into them, but it has to stop. There is two little girls we have to look after! Cody's sister and my sister, But No! They have to go pull that crap!

"Here." I whisper, as I place the damp cloth on Cody's forhead.

"Liam and Derek since you guys are washed up, you can go run some errands. Liam you can go get, the Christmas items on this list. Derek you can get the groceries on the list." I order, sending them off.

Once they leave, Aurora and Belle come down. They're a bit more calm, and have blankets wrapped around them. Their faces have color now, and their eyes are brighter to.

"I'm hungry." They pout, heading to the kitchen. Their blankets dragging across the floor.

Leaving the damp cloth on Cody's forehead, I go into the kitchen. To find two upset girls sitting on the floor. Their blankets flow around them like a tent, and their hair stick up around them.

"How about we have a picnic in the living room!" I exclaim clapping my hands.

"Yea!" They both cheer clapping their hands.

"Okay! Go put on your tea party clothes, and grab some blankets, and pillows!" I laugh as they run off.

"Hey." I whisper, smiling at Cody.

"Hey." Cody croaks. His voice strained.

"You okay?" I ask . Fixing the damp cloth.

"I think so." Cody replies nodding.
