Arthur pov

*12 years ago*

"Hide!", paps yelled and pushed me behind a few barrels.

I did as he said, the big red dragon came and destroyed the catapults with it's fire, everything was hot and bright. I was scared that it would hurt me, I made myself as small as I could and hoped it would leave us alone, my paps wanted to fight it, but he got burned by the dragon fire.

I hated this thing, why couldn't it just go away? It hurt my paps and I will never forgive him.

*12 years later*

Since this day, I swore myself to end this beast, no one will hurt my family and get away with it! I will always blame the dragon, my father wouldn't have those wounds without him.

With 13 years I started training, I learned how to fight and how to kill, even before I practiced with my friends until I was old enough to start the real training.

Every week this thing came back and attacked us, stole our food, my hate grew more and more. The king send many of his men to kill the creature, but no one over came back. It hurt me to watch, I couldn't do anything, not yet. It didn't attack the people, he just stole out belongings and our food.

With 16 years I became a real knight, finally my biggest dream came true, now I had the chance to face the dragon, but they called me crazy, told me it needs more than an armour and a sword. But I had hate and courage, I knew I could do it, but I trained more.

As the state of my father got worse, things changed.

"Son, I want you to know that I am proud of you, you became the first knight in our Family, I love you.", he whispered, before he closed his eyes forever.

I looked at him with teary eyes, covered in scars from the dragon fire, I knew that this was my sign to revenge him.....
