The view from the balcony was breathtaking. The cold breeze bashing against her pale skin, her curls flowing behind her, and the smile that spread across her lips brought a smile to his. Her company made him feel whole even though she wasn't his mate. The pull he felt towards her made it impossible to stay away. Her beauty struck him even more, her sparkling blue eyes made him happy. Happy to see a smile on her face, happy to be the one that made her smile.

"I can't believe how beautiful this place is" Zoila smiled, releasing a calming breath. Her body relaxed as the cool air bashed against her pale skin.

"Yeah, it is" Rainier sighed dreamily, his eyes glued to her pale face, her shimmering blue eyes were closed. The minute they reopened, she turned to look at him with sad eyes.

"I've always dreamt of peace like this" she stated in a sad tone. A single tear slid down her cheeks. Rainer was quick to his feet, pulling her into his warm embrace. The heat radiating from him made her relax. "Back home was a nightmare, every day I had to fight to stay alive" she whispered, keeping her gaze fixed on the meadow just below her balcony.

"Well, your here now and your safe" Rainier reassured her, turning to face her. Gazing down into her mesmerizing blue orbs, their face only inches apart his light breath fanning her face. His eyes closed as he leaned in, his lips brushing lightly against hers. Her hands ran up his arm, stopping on his bulging biceps. His lips pressed softly against hers entangling her in a web of lust. Her body melted away in his arms. The butterflies in her tummy went wild as one of his arms trailed up her back, running through her hair from the back, as he gripped her hair she gasped, giving him full access to her.

His tongue plunged into her mouth, a soft moan escaping her lips. The chemistry between them sparked. Her fingers intertwined in his short curls. Their moans filled the room as they both battled for control. The electricity was intense between them, his arm holding tight afraid she'd disappear. His bugle poked at her navel. It took everything in them to pull away.

"That was...... amazing," he said catching his breath, she blushed doing the same. Her gaze shifted away from him down to her new navy blue sandals. His lips pressed lightly against her temples. The door to her room burst open, revealing a very livid Jackson. Zoila looked at him in fear stepping behind Rainer who was already in a protective stance.

"Get away from her" Jackson's wolf growled, Rainer scoffed shaking his head.

"Make me pretty boy" Rainer challenged, Jackson growled, charging wilding towards them. Suddenly a strong breeze brushed passed them, slapping Jackson across the room. His body flew into the wall, leaving a large hole. Passers-by gaped through the hole formed, glancing between Jackson hanging by his legs from the hole.

Rainer glanced over his shoulder at the innocent girl standing behind him. Her gaze fixated on Jackson's feet hanging from the wall, something about the way she looked at him told Rainer she was the cause. Turning to face her, a look of concern washed over him in waves. Taking her hand gently in his, pulling her into his warm embrace.

"What is the meaning of this!!!!!" Pamela exclaimed, glaring daggers at the groaning Jackson. Her gaze trailed to Rainer as he cradled Zoila in his arms. "My office, all of you," she told, turning on her heels and left.

"Would anyone like to explain what happened" a pin drop of silence filled the room, and no one dared to meet her burning gaze? "No one," she asked in a low growl, glancing around the room. Zoila sat directly before her, gazing down at her nails as if they were more interesting. Rainer and Jackson each stood on opposite sides of the room. "How about you Zoila, mind enlightening me," she asked calmly, leaning forward on her desk. Zoila glanced over her shoulder at Rainer who was looking directly at her with a small smile.

"I'm sorry," she said softly, glancing down at her fumbling fingers. "I didn't-"

"I punched him" Rainier piped in, interrupting her. Pamela shot him a look of disapproval. She knew he was lying to protect Zoila, the glare on Jackson's face says it all.

"Zoila, you may leave" Pamela sighed, leaning back in her chair, using her thumb and pointer finger to rub over her brows as a means to relax. Zoila nods, pushing from her chair, and left without another word. The tension in the room only grow the moment the door closed behind her. Jackson growled in anger, stroking over to Rainer in fury, his wolf clawing at the surface.

"What do you think you're doing" Jackson growled, clutching his fist by his side. His light gray eyes haze over.

"I don't see why you care, it's not like you like her" Rainer scoffed, shaking his head. Jackson growled once more, inching closer and closer to Rainer who stood his ground.

"She's my mate" Jackson exclaimed, grabbing Rainer by his collar. Pamela watched them with a blank stare, she knew her brother cared about Zoila and he wasn't afraid to show it. On the other hand, she was Jackson's mate, they had a connection, and they were destined to be together. But Jackson wasn't interested in any of it.

"What does that say, you don't even care about her, to you she's an outlaw, an abomination, you don't deserve someone as innocent and sweet as her, she deserves better, and I'll make sure she gets it" Rainer stated nonchalantly, squatting his eyes into a deep glare at Jackson.

Jackson growled out of frustration "She's my mate, not yours" tears burned his gaze, threatening to fall. Rainer scoffed when he saw this, shaking his head in annoyance.

"Your crocodile tears only work on the weak, not me. Besides, she doesn't want you" this made Jackson see red, ready to charge at Rainer with full force.

"You asshol-"

"That's enough!!!" Pamela sighed, now getting irritated by their childish behavior. "Rainer, leave" Rainer was hesitant at first but, shaking his head, he scoffed. Turning on his heels and left the room without uttering a word. Slamming the door on his way out. "Your as stupid as you are impulsive" Pamela sighed.

"You expect me to allow him to pursue my mate under the same roof. She's rightfully mine, he has no reason to even be that close to her, let alone kiss her" Jackson screamed pacing the floor in frustration. Running his fingers through his hair furiously.

"Then pursue her, the closer you are to her the better, just take it slow" Pamela instructed, leaning back in her chair. Jackson sighed, looking over at her with a running mind, it made him uneasy, but he knew his wolf wouldn't let him lead on this if he was to disagree. Pamela knew her plan would work out somehow, she just needed to get Rainer away from Zoila as soon as possible. It wasn't safe for either of them.
