The moment she came face to face with the alpha she was in awe. It wasn't the fact that the alpha was a girl. It was the power that was radiating off her that demanded respect. Most alpha's she's met before was violent, ruthless, they were more animal than human. Their power was nowhere as powerful as the alpha sitting across from her with a blank expression visible on her pale face.
"Alpha" Jackson said as he approached her, standing by her side as she slowly inspected the young girl gapping before her. "This is the outlander that was found on the lawns of the south meadow." he added, his hands clasped firmly behind him. His gaze not once flickering from the girl. The air lingering around her, made him tense, sending his wolf pushing forward, a feeling he had been fighting every since he saw her kneeling beside the sun flower field. "State your name and age?".
Zoila tensed, her gaze falling to the marble tiles beneath her feet. "Zoi......Zoila" she mumbled out, if it wasn't for their wolf hearing they would've missed it entirely.
"Age?" Jackson repeated, tilting his head to the side. He wasn't sure why, but apart of him wanted that information. He wanted to know and discover so much about her. He wasn't sure why but he did.
"18" she mumbled, lifting her gaze to meet with his, where she found herself getting lost in his eyes. The alpha caught on to what was happening.
Clearing her throat, grabbing the attention of everyone in the room including Rainer whom was indulged in a game of candy crush. "Well then, miss Zoila, I'm Alpha Pamela Jones of the Silver moon pack, I'm aware you were introduced to my beta Jackson Abraham and my younger brother Rainer Jones" Pamela introduced, gesturing to each boy as she introduced them. Each nodding as their name was called. Zoila's gaze fell once more, something about the alpha's presence made her made her fox whimper and bare its neck in submission and respect for someone with higher power.
"I'll have one of the dungeons ready-" Jackson began, which made Zoila's body tense. The thought of being held against her will once more made her fall to her knees before he could finish his sentence. This caught the boy's by surprise.
"Please...please, don't lock me up. I'll do as you want, I'll tell you anything you want to know about the outside, please" Zoila begged, tears streaming down her pale cheeks.
"Jackson, you dumbass your scaring her" Rainer growled, pushing himself off the chair an ran to her side, slowly pulling her off her knees, all while Jackson watched in rage. He hated the fact that Rainer was touching her. "We're not going to imprison you, I'm sure my sister can come up with something less frightening, right" Rainer asked, trying to his sister with hope. His arm wrapped securely around her waist, keeping her from falling to her knees as she sniffs.
Pamela glanced over her shoulder at her Beta's reaction, at the sight of Rainer and Zoila's position. His reaction made her smirk, before turning to face Rainer whom held a look she knew she had to talk to him about, sooner are later.
"Rainer, take her to one of the empty guest rooms" she instructed, Rainer simply nods, leading Zoila out of the room with his arms still firm around small frame. Once they were out of the room, Pamela could feel the tension slowly disappear. "Why?" was all she asked, watching Jackson walk around the desk, standing where Zoila stood not long ago.
"Why what?" Jackson asked, playing dumb as he gazed up at her. She sighed, pushing up from her chair, circling the desk to face him as she braced against her desk with her arms crossed.
"I know you felt the connection with that girl, the bond, my question is. Why not act on it?" she asked, watching him closely as he shrugged, gazing down at his feet.
"It's an abomination, being mated to an outlander. That's an abomination in itself" he hissed, glaring at the marble tiles beneath him.
She scoffed, turning away from him momentarily before turning back to face him with a scold. "Look at me, Abraham" she hissed in a demanding tone giving him no choice but to look at her. "She is your mate, you'll treat her as such. It doesn't matter where she came from, the moon goddess placed you two together for a reason, its a blessing, respect that".
He scoffed, chuckling to himself, gazing up before looking back at her. "If it's such a blessing why did you reject your mate" This made her growl, the building beneath them shook, and in one swift move, she had him pinned to the wall on the other side of the room by his neck. squeezing with enough force to kill him.
"Never, and I mean never, bring up my mate. I might be your friend but there is a limit to where I draw a line in this friendship" releasing him from her death grip, he fell with a thud. Gasping for air as he ran his hand along his throat. "Test me again Abraham, and air will be the least of your problem, get out of my sight" she growled, turning away from him. Walking over to her desk and picked up her office phone. Jackson wasted no time, scurrying out of her office.
The line rang, three times before the call was received.
"Rita Prince speaking" the voice called out on the other end.
"Headmaster Prince, I have a problem in my pack that needs to be looked at"
"This sounds like a pack matter, yet your calling me.....why?" Rita asked in confusion, shuffling could be heard on the other end, as Pamela cracked her knuckles.
"There was breech in the forcefield today, Now there's an outlander on my pack land" the line went silent for a while.
"I'm on my way" Rita rushed out, ending the call.
