"Goddess of life..... God of death.... I seek your guidance...... bring back the one that was lost........ and take the one that has been found" Mist chanted. White chalk dust littering her hand, sweat tickling down her forehead. On her hands and knees, holding herself up with one hand while she ran the chalk against the oak wood floor of her fathers old studies. Her fathers spell book opened on her far left. Outlining the moon in the wiccan, making everything perfect for what's to come. "Give back the lost and take back the found"

Her words bouncing off the walls of the office, echoing throughout the small room, a gush of wind swirled through the room, blowing her blond curls blowing back wildly. She stood in satisfaction, watching as each symbol glow light blue. Her baby blue eyes hazing over turning pure white. She body slowly lifting off the floor, her white ritual gown flowing in the breeze. She was lost, taken by the power of the spell.

"It couldn't have been?" It was more of a question than a statement. Corey found himself pondering on the idea of what they had seen. Lady Lauren sat in disbelief, running her fingers through her curls.

"I know what i saw" Corey snapped, running his fingers through his hair in frustration. It has been hours since they started this conversation, an hour yet the conversation was not going anywhere. It was hard for them to believe.

"There hasn't been a dragon in River Valley for decades" Lady Lora begun, her heavy breathing calming down slowing. "This is not possible, It can't be" she mumbled in disbelief, plopping down on the sofa on the other side of the room.

"Believe it are not, that's what we saw, he had dragon wings, his eyes were silver just like the legend says" he explained, Lora froze slowly glancing up from her marble tiled floor.

"Did you say 'silver eyes'" she asked, with a worried look on her face, a look the made Corey push himself to the edge of the couch. Squatting his eyes in suspicion, the look was one that scared him especially when it came from her, he nods slowly. "Mist also saw him" her worried tone, made him uneasy. He knew little to nothing about witches, despite his mate being a witch. Slowly he began to nod, her body jerked forward pushing off the sofa. "This is bad" she say's, rushing towards the spiral staircase with Corey hot on her tail.

"What am I missing" he asked. The moment they reached the top of the stair's, the ground beneath them began to shake uncontrollable. Lady Lora began to lose her balance Corey's arm wrapped itself securely around her waist, holding her up right as he pushed forward. The lights in the room slowly began to flicker. "What's going on?" He rushed out, the floor beneath them shaking uncontrollably.

The wooden floor cracked beneath their feet. Slowing opening wider, Lora gasped, pushing from Corey's grasp with much force. Banging against the dark oak door.

"MOVE!!" He exclaimed over the continued rumbling. Lora did as she was told, stepping to the side while gripping the wall and door jam as best as she could to to not fall. Corey ran forward, slamming his body into the door. Landing on the floor with the oak wood door beneath him. Lora froze at the sight of her daughter. Entering the room blankly, as the earth beneath them slowed its pace.

"It's too late" she whispered, Corey looked at her dumbfounded experience in confusion.

"What's too late, whats going on" he asked, a bright glowing light brought his attention to the wiccan symbol glowing beneath her.

"Give back the lost and take back the found" she chanted, over and over as the symbol beneath her glowed brighter.

"She too far into the spell, I can't take her out" Lora said, a single tear sliding down her cheek.

"What spell is she doing" he asked in curiosity, his gaze not once leaving Misty's. He's watched his mate do many spells before, but he's never seen anything like this.

"The death spell" her mother said, releasing a shaky breath. Misty's body was slowly lowered to the floor, her head hanging low, her blonde curls, covering her now pale face, her hands falling to her side.

"Misty" Corey called out, walking closer to her, but was stopped by Lora, glancing over at her confused as he saw her shaking her head. Gazing back over at her his eyes widen. "What's happening to her" he rushed out, unable to move as Lora had casted a spell on him. He watched in horror as Misty's body slowly began to glow light blue. With each second her glow became brighter and brighter.

               Until she disappeared.

"Misty..... NO" he cried out, struggling to break free of the hold the spell had on him.
