It was the spring of 1986. One nice sunny Wednesday I was walking around the streets of Hawkins. I was walking by this big house, and I heard stories about it, about Victor Creel. I thought I saw someone standing in one of the windows but I'm sure it was my paranoia. I just shook it off and started walking then I bumped into someone..
"Sorry" I spoke trying to walk past him but he grabbed my arm
"Where do you think you're going?" It was Jason from school.
"Let me go Michael"
"my name is Jason" he spoke while I ripped out of his grip
"What's the difference? They're both ugly"
"You think you're funny?" a smirk grew on his face
"Uhhhh... I hate to interrupt but I think you should walk away now" A tall, skinny, long dark haired boy was standing in front of Jason now.
"Oh look who it is, The freak. What are you gonna do?" Jason spoke I assume they don't get along
"Me? Oh nothing it's her you should be running from" he takes a sip of his beer and laughs a bit.
"And why is that, freak?"
"Because she has been holding a blade to your side the entire time I have been here" he said chuckling and Jason ran off not looking back
I didn't have a weapon. He made that up..this stranger just helped me, maybe not everyone in this town is mean. The boy started walking off so I followed.
"Hey! What's your name?"
He stopped, turned back, and smiled
"Eddie Munson and yours is Tiffany Saw right?" Eddie replied
"How do you know my name?"
"You're the new girl everyone is talking about" He began walking closer to me "I thought you were going to be mean and scary but it doesn't appear that way"
"Me? no. I'm shocked you aren't, everyone I've met seems to have a stick up their butt. Haven't made any friends"
"Now you have" He held out his hand and I shook it, soft hands he has.
"Thanks for getting rid of him by the way"
"Yeah it was nothing he bothers me too"
"See you at school tomorrow?"
"I'll find you during lunch" he gave a quick smile and with that we went our separate ways.
The next day I woke up and felt like someone was watching me but I just shook it off. I got ready, ate breakfast and drove to school. I have a light yellow Volkswagen beetle with a sunflower in the flower holder. It's a nice little car. I got to school and went to my classes. They were all boring, filled with obnoxious and rude kids. Finally it was lunch. I walked around looking for Eddie when someone picked me up and sat me down at this table with Mike, Dustin and some other kids, it was Eddie.
"Who is this?" Mike asked
"The new girl, Tiffany Saw, I met her and Voorhees yesterday on the sidewalk. He was giving her issues" Eddie spoke taking a seat next to me
"Oh we thought you finally got a girlfriend" Dustin laughed
Eddie threw a roll at him "shut up"
Everyone at the table was laughing, even me, I glanced at Eddie who was as well. He saw me and gave a sweet smile.
