Liam's POV
"Alright so the monster had this thing," I pointed at his monster hand thing on a diagram I very poorly drew,"that drained the magic right out of Stiles, but he absorbed it so we just need to figure out how he did that."
I said all of this like I had it all figured out, but I actually have no idea what I'm doing whatsoever.
They knew as much as did, which wasn't very much, and since I didn't know very much I wasn't going to be very helpful at all in this.
"Okay as much as I hate the idea of this, what if we called the guy that could potentially help him." Jackson suggested from his position with Stiles's head in his lap.
Jackson caring about anyone like that was rare, and I knew they were close, but you never really understand until you see it, and I don't know everything from the past, but I know that Jackson has saved Stiles more times than anyone, and Stiles has done the exact same back for him. Best friends would be the term most would use. Brothers is the term that actually fits.
"Liam is this everything you know?" Lydia asked nervously. I nodded and dropped my head down a little bit. It sucked that I couldn't be more helpful than basically telling them what they had already known from when they walked in the door.
None of what I was saying was being the littlest bit helpful in any way.
"Well then...okay, that's okay. What you said gives us a lead, and it gives us the opportunity to find another lead and another lead. So thank you Liam, that was very helpful."
Lydia was just trying to make me feel better, but I know she was going through the exact same thing I was in her head right now.
"No offense guys, but I don't think Stiles has enough time for you guys to execute this huge plan. He has maybe days from the looks of him."
He was right. Stiles was dangerously pale, and the veins were spreading, and they weren't slowing down by any means. If anything, they were speeding up somehow.
"Well we have to try something! Us sitting here and doing nothing isn't helping Stiles anymore than looking for more clues will."
She was panicking. Completely about to go into a full on panic attack, and I have no idea how to handle something like that.
"Lydia breathe," Jackson starts,"everything is going to be okay. This isn't the first time that Stiles has almost died."
Stiles really needs to stop almost dying I thought as suddenly Stiles's phone started to ring.
"Who is it?" Lydia and I asked at the same time.
"It's Sophia. Hang on." He walked away, and answered the phone.
He was pretty quiet for the most part but I did hear him say that Stiles was sick, and that he's knocked out from medication. Pretty good excuse, and definitely not the first time they've had to make an excuse like that for something.
After a minute he hung up the phone and slid it back into Stiles's pocket.
"Call them."
I looked at him confused.
"Call who Jackson?"
He looked up at me from where he had sat back on the floor.
"Call them, call whoever you know that can possibly save Stiles. I'm not going to lose him just because you are scared that it'll be the wrong choice."
He was one hundred percent serious, and you could tell that, but it didn't change the fact that this was the most dangerous option that we had.
"Jackson, they could kill him. The guy that I think could save him, he wants him dead. It would be a miracle if he miraculously decided that helping us save him would be the right choice."
His face didn't falter, not once. This wasn't up for debate. That's what both of us thought anyway. We both believed we were right, and we both didn't want to admit that both of our plans, or courses of action were flawed.
In the end of the day we were all trying to save Stiles. That was our main plan, but we all have different ways of getting to the place we want to be at.
Gaylor isn't the kind of helping hand that Jackson believes he is. There's no doubt that he'll do something that we're unprepared for, and chances are that Allison will be with him on that. It isn't worth the risk of completely losing Stiles based on a guess.
On the other hand, it's our only option, and that seems to be what is driving Jackson towards that. All he wants is to keep him safe, and we all know that, but it doesn't change the fact that it's a bad idea.
I was about to open my mouth to say something when the creaking of the giant metal door at the front of the warehouse sounded, signaling someone was in here with us. So I put my helmet back on and grabbed my ax thing. There's no way they were going to stay in here with us. They were going to have to leave.
My hand motioned for Jackson and Lydia to stay put where they were, whilst I checked it all out to make sure that everything was okay, and that we weren't in any kind of danger.
I creeped closer and closer to the source of the noise, and got ready to attack. They had to be in the perfect position that way I could strike easier when they came into view.
A few more minutes, or maybe it was seconds passed by on the imaginary stop watch before I decided that I had waited long enough, and pounced on the intruder like a predator catching their prey.
I flipped them over and held my axe up as a weapon before I gasped at who it was.
"Isaac?"
