Erica's POV

We weren't doing as well as we could be doing. There was just too many of them coming from every single direction, and it didn't help that there were random monsters mixed in with all of them.

"Guys! There's too many of them! What do we do?!" Allison suddenly yelled, as she barely beat me to it. Maybe she had read my mind or something.

"We keep fighting!"

Yeah, great idea Isaac. Like we weren't already doing that. Thank God our fearless leader has such good ideas for solving this problem and not dying.

Then everything disappeared.

What was actually going on? Because this was every type of confusing. One minute the monsters were there, the next minute they weren't, and meanwhile, certain members of our team can barely shoot their blaster much less fight off an army that pops up in random increments.

Speaking of certain team members. He was currently holding onto a wall for dear life as if he would fall over without it.

"Are the puny rangers finally giving up? Because Emperor Caven would really appreciate it if you would just give up already. Makes the whole announcing victory thing easier to plan. You know what I mean?"

It was the same person from earlier. Does this person worship them or something.

"Who are you." I said as calm as I possibly could when all the sudden I heard Isaac laugh.

"It's obvious who she is isn't it? I mean the directions to the warehouse, the calls that Jackson was taking, and even the mysterious way they charmed their way into our everyday lives the day we moved here. It all makes sense now..."

He trailed off before looking straight at them with his blaster pointed at their heart.

"Doesn't it Sophia?"

That earned an abrupt round of applause from her as she pulled back her mask to reveal exactly that.

We all on instinct looked to Stiles to see his reaction to the whole thing, but he didn't even seem to be paying attention. He was grabbing his chest where the veins were as he was gasping for breath.

"Can he just hurry up and die? It'll be easier to take out just four of you because I really don't want to break a nail."

Just like that, Isaac had her pinned against the wall with his sword to her throat.

"Fix whatever that monster did to him." He said as menacingly as he possibly could, and honestly, it was scary to hear him talk like that since he's not really the one to get super scary in these kinds of situations.

I had never seen him this angry before, but I'm guessing that seeing one of his friends, or one of his teammates, in danger brings out a different side of him that none of us have ever seen before.

To his complete surprise she just laughed even harder than before. Which I could tell made him even angrier, but he was holding it together pretty well.

"You really think your little toy is going to scare me? Come on Isaac, try a little harder than some metal."

Just as he was about to push the blade into her throat, everything started to vanish. Meaning our suits, our blasters, weapons, and even our morphers.

"Looks like the old man took all of your toys away. Must suck to be powerless power rangers." Now she was practically hysterical in her laughter.

Then Isaac's claws were out and right above her heart.

"Tell me how to save him or I swear to God I will rip your heart out so perfectly that you'll get to see its bloody mess in my hands right before you die right here Sophia. We'll see how powerless I really am."

If she was scared then she was really good at hiding it because the smile she had been bearing hadn't left her face.

"Do it Isaac. Become the killer that you've always been scared of becoming. Rip my heart out and watch yourself become a monster. One that tried to kill your best friend. One that was too much of a coward to properly lead his team, and one that knowingly led their team into this battle knowing that Stiles wasn't going to make it out alive because you are a selfish wannabe that doesn't know what the hell he's doing, and pretty soon your team is going to realize the exact thing you've been trying to avoid them ever finding out."

She got really close to his ear then and whispered something that I couldn't hear, but judging by Isaac's eyes going wide and glowing a brighter yellow than before, what she said really pissed him off.

"Tell me how to save him!" He growled menacingly at her as she continued laughing.

"Who? Him?" She then pointed behind him, and I looked to see that Stiles had indeed collapsed to the floor unconscious.

Liam, Allison, and I ran to him whilst Isaac kept a strong hold on Sophia.

"Damnit Stiles wake up!" I yelled as I violently shook him.

His heartbeat was still there, but he was fading fast, and none of us knew what we could do to save him right now.

"Come on. Come on!" I put my hand just above his nose and mouth and felt nothing.

Stiles wasn't breathing.

"Shit shit shit! Isaac he's not breathing!" I screamed as I got ready to give him CPR.

I tilted his head back and checked that his airways were cleared before tilting his head back, pinching his nose closed, and bringing my mouth to his to breathe for him.

Allison was in hysterics as I could hear her sobs as I was trying to focus. Sophia's laughs definitely weren't helping any of this, but I couldn't pay attention to any of that right now.

Stiles was fading, and he needed me to bring him back. Which was totally a lot of pressure, but a necessary amount to ensure that I do everything I possibly can to make sure that he lives to see tomorrow.

You gotta pull through for me Stiles.

Please.
