Tuesday started out very much the same. Dib and Zim both went to school and shot each other death glares all throughout morning classes and into lunch period. Neither of them said a word to each other until afternoon recess.

Dib was sitting next to his sister, who was buried in a video game as always. She never really listened to him, but she was the only person that would at least pretend to listen sometimes.

Not that Dib had anything to talk about today. Out loud, anyway. He was still a little weirded out by Zim's behavior yesterday. He was not sure what to make of it. Dib refused to believe that Zim had protected him, his arch nemesis.

Zim and Torque never really got along anyway, so whether or not Dib was there, Zim probably would have thrown that lid at him anyway. Or maybe Zim was aiming for Dib and missed. Yeah, that was it.

"That has to be it," Dib mumbled aloud.

Gaz sighed. "What is it?"

"Nothing," Dib answered.

"You know... you're weirdly quiet today. I like it," Gaz said.

Dib did not answer.

"Is this about Zim dumping food on your head yesterday?" Gaz grumbled.

"Nope. It's something else," Dib said.

"Hmm," Gaz huffed.

Across the playground, Zim sat underneath the tree, working on something mechanical.

Dib stood up and headed over to the little green alien, stopping right in front of him.

Zim looked up at Dib.

"What are you up to, Zim?" Dib growled.

Zim leapt to his feet. "I'm not up to ANYTHING, filthy human!"

"Like I'm going to buy that horrible lie," Dib retorted.

"No, I'm serious. I'm not taking over Earth today, I have to fix my problem with the Tallest first." Zim returned to working on what looked like some kind of alien IPad.

"Wait, what?" Dib asked.

"I have to find a way to prove myself to Tallest Arya so that she can BASK in the awesome glory of ZIM!"

Dib burst out laughing. "Oh my gosh, you think you can change her mind?"

"Of course I can change her mind. I am ZIM!" he bellowed.

Dib wiped a tear from his eye, trying to stop laughing. "Oh, that's hysterical. And what exactly do you plan to do? Go talk to her in person?" He burst out laughing all over again.

Zim paused for a second then gasped. "Yes, of course! THAT'S BRILLIANT!!! I mean, that was my plan all along, of course."

Dib stopped laughing. "Wait, you're actually going to try to talk to Arya in person?"

"TALLEST Arya," Zim corrected.

"I... can't let you do that," Dib said.

Zim puffed out his chest. "Why not?"

"She'd kill you in an instant," Dib responded.

"And why do you care about that?" Zim prodded.

Dib thought for a second. "Well, it would be kind of hard to expose a dead alien."

"I will begin preparations to leave Earth IMMEDIATELY!" Zim yelled.

A few of the other kids glanced over.

Zim froze. "Uh, I mean neighborhood. Yes, yes. My family is moving."

Dib face palmed.

"Bye!" Zim made a break for the fence. He climbed it in a flash and jumped down on the other side.
