Chapter 17 A Late night

It felt weird doing this but then again, asking was more of a pain because I knew it would have made me sound like a baby or a wimp, but then again I was all of those things. Somehow it worked and here I am, walking with Maritza and Enzo to their house how did this happen? When we did finishing the plan we all had to go home, not only was it eight forty-five but Enzo and Maritza had to get home because their dad said they had to stay in the house until he gets back, which could have been anytime and Trinity's parents said she had to be back at seven and it was already eight so we needed to go.

As they all left my room I finally got a moment to change out of the dirty blood-covered clothes and put on some deodorant...finally. Once I went down the stairs, I heard loud talking that turned into arguing and once I was down, I saw all of my teammates or...friends no teammates, arguing over something " what I did was wrong, maybe even worse than what we all did and I'm sorry but you all push me down that cliff " Trinity said almost like she was trying to defend herself but I was more focus on what she was meaning with "you push me down that cliff" it sounded wrong " oh and that why you decided to not only abandon us but then told Aaron about his grandparents just to get back at us " Enzo bark at her but it only left me stunned when he mention Aaron's grandparents were they important " oh let's not forget on how you ignore us and hang out with those wannabe pop stars without eve-" Maritza stop when she saw me at the stairs. 

Once Maritza saw me they all notice me and all looked at me with such a worried look and shock, they look like they wanted to grab me and tell me to forget everything, maybe it was the look in their eyes but it look like it because the eyes never lie " how much did you hear " Enzo asked, I felt a chill in my body because I truly didn't know what to say, really the only thing I could do was just lie " w- well I heard arguing but not much...I just came down here " good job shuttering idiot, I thought to myself as I look to them only for them to not seem to care " it doesn't matter if he heard it all...can we all just go and get some sleep, we all had a rough day " Trinity said to which all of them nodded almost like they were all robots or...the aliens.

Without even an agreement, they all walked out the front door before saying goodbye to me but when they close the door I couldn't help but feel scared, mainly with everything but truly it was Mr.Peterson that scared me today, I mean I was a target for his plans or plot he wants me and he was across the street I couldn't help but feel scared something that I didn't feel when I first broke into that house I don't think I was scared just stupid.

I only felt fear when I was at the news station when we were high up and it look like the earth was going downwards making me go higher and higher and higher until I couldn't breathe and then fal- " no stop I told myself " trying to resist the urge to rethink that but then again I didn't feel scared when I was around...Maritza " no I shouldn't...maybe...no...maybe...no no...but then again it could be a sleepover...yea friends have sleepovers a lot I mean Mya..." I stop myself to resist even thinking about her, especially in the room that was now inhabited by the dust that serves as our memories.

Out of my instinct I ran out the door to Enzo and Maritza, they were already a little far but I was fast. I beat Aaron in soccer a bunch of times because of my speed there was no way I would not catch up to them and so I ran calling out their names to which they stop to see me running like a tired athlete and then they stop in front of me " what did I forget to pay my check " Enzo sarcastically said to which I responded with no slowness in my voice " can I sleep with you guys tonight " I asked to which both look at me shocked before turning to each other.

they both kinda looked at each other for a second then back to me until Enzo spoke " Nicholas now not the best-" " of course, you can, it the least we can do for your face " Maritza interrupted for the right moment. I smiled " thanks " to which she smirked which already made me know that she was going- " as long as you don't stink up the place " of course. With that, we all started walking which included the two siblings arguing in Spanish which was most likely about me staying at their house for the night. while they were arguing I kept thinking about everything we found in the bag but try to think about the making of the plan and how it came to be which was just me thinking about the steps of it.
