Ian's POV
Sundays are always my favourite because they are the only days I get to sleep till this late. I usually don't work on Sundays unless and until there is an emergency and I have to rush over.
It is currently 9 in the morning and I am still lying on my bed cozily. As my back hurt due to the same posture since all night, so I turned around to the other side of the bed and gazed at the sunlight peeping in through the cracks of the window sill. I have been awake since an hour by now out of habit but I don't care about leaving the bed anytime sooner.
Adam had already left early in the morning at around six for his football practice while Aiden was peacefully asleep in his own room. Last night Aiden stayed over at Winter's place till late and I had to literally drag him back to our house in the middle of the night. Hence, I am pretty sure that he wouldn't be getting up anytime soon either.
I lazily tossed around once again and dipped my face into the blanket covers. It's winter now and the temperature gets really chilly down here in the mornings.
I know that most people don't like this season because it makes them lethargic and easily drained out but I do....
I like it.... and I like every bit of it.....
Winter is undoubtedly my favourite season. I love the snow and the cool winds and the festive season that comes along with winters. But my favourite part undoubtedly is sleeping inside the cozy blankets during this weather. It feels sooo heavenly.....
It has been a week since Thanksgiving and I already miss being unproductive. In these few days, I have occasionally met Winter during the evenings when I went to her place to get Aiden back, but I haven't had a real chance to actually have a conversation with her. But nevermind....
I was currently contemplating in my mind if I should get up and make myself some coffee or just stay for another 30 minutes in bed....
Ofcourse I did choose the later...😌😌I was cozily lying inside the covers half asleep when suddenly the doorbell rang outside loudly.
Adam won't be back so early and as far as I remembered, I wasn't supposed to meet anyone in the morning. So who could it be??
I removed the covers and hurriedly got up from the bed. I put on a clean white t-shirt and finger combed through my hairs roughly before answering the door.
To my utter surprise, a young lady stood at my doorstep whose face I couldn't recall from my past memories.
I didn't know her.....
She was quite tall and had some minimal makeup on her face. She was dressed in formal clothes from top to bottom and looked like may be she was in her early twenties. She wore black high heels and also had a small travel bag in her right hand.
We had an awkward staring game for may be ten seconds before I finally cleared my throat and spoke up, "Hi... Are you looking for someone?"
She instantly seemed quite flustered at my question. She looked around towards both of her sides and gulped once nervously before answering back, "Mmhmm....Hii.."
The girl before me looked pretty much confused and zoned out. And to some extent she literally reminded me of Winter. Both of their reactions and expressions on their face are pretty same- Nervous and Awkward.
She fiddled with the corner of her shirt unmindfully before finally speaking up, " D-Does Winter live here or did I come to the wrong place?"
She literally mumbled out the last part with clear embarassment spread across her face.
