Everything seemed perfect yet so left apart. With a prestigious job, sufficient salary, fiance and supportive family, Shehnaaz Shah was a perfect girl in eyes of the world. She had achieved so much in a very early age that others looked upto her as an inspiration. But was she really happy with her life? The answer was a complete NO.The success always brings its negatives along with positives. Being a successful and most loved actress, her privacy was always at stake. Everybody were curious to know the happenings in her life. The media used to follow wherever she went. A few people were envious of her achievements and mean comments of such handful people, lowered her moral. Being a chirpy loving girl was now a past characteristics of hers. She felt as if she was losing a part of herself, pretending to nit be what she was, A CAREFREE LOVING HAPPY GIRL.
When she debuted in a daily soap two years back(18 years) she fell in love with her co-star, Harshad. She had a huge crush on him, so to impress him she got her cast to stalk him and inform her about his likes and dislikes. Being just a newcomer and fan of Harshad since years, she didn't want to lose this opportunity to impress him. After a few months of shoot, their chemistry on-screen was loved by audience. Shehnaaz and Harshad started hanging together, that's when they started dating each other. All this seemed to be a dream to her but soon turned into a nightmare when she found out Harshad already had a girlfriend and was using Shehnaaz to get rid off the truth from media. Shattered she left the show reasoning to her audience that she wanted a break and wished to take part in some new roles.
After a few months, Harshad got married and that led to false theories defaming Shehnaaz. Getting trolled nearly everyday made her life miserable. All these things didn't stop her from working towards her goals. She bagged another role which turned out to be successful than the previous one. Her parents were scared as they noticed how their baby girl had turned workaholic. That's when her family introduced her to a boy they had chosen for her marriage, Shyam. On their first meet, Shyam told Shehnaaz the truth of having a girlfriend and was pressurized by his parents to marry her. Shehnaaz and Shyam decided to fake that they were in a relationship till the right time comes to confront their parents.
Things kept moving on but nothing got better. Trolls and number of haters kept increasing proportionately as her fans. And there came a point in life when she was too exhausted to bear the happenings. Her belief in love was shattered completely, the fake relationship with Shyam made it difficult for her to communicate with her parents about her feelings, the haters weren't ending their dirty games and made sure they tried every method to defame her. She wanted to run away from everything, the achievement of becoming an actress now seemed a burden. She wanted a source to escape the stress. But how was the question.
She was sitting in a coffee shop with her mask on. People were too busy and lost in their own worlds to notice her. She had worn a black hoodie and blue ripped jeans, reading her book while she sipped her coffee. Her phone pinged a message from an unknown number.
"Can we speak for a few minutes Miss Shah?"
"Who are you? How did you get my number?" Shehnaaz messaged back getting anxious. Her number was restricted only to her parents and close friends.
"Don't worry Miss Shah. I am not a dangerous person. Wanted to speak to you for just ten minutes. If you agree to I would come in the cafe. Just ten minutes. Not more than that." Shehnaaz gulped a lump of saliva and typed ok in reply. In a few seconds she watched a 6.2 ft tall man with a great physique, wearing a hat come towards her and occupy the seat in front of her.
"Who are you?" Shehnaaz asked clutching the table in a hushed voice. Her heart missed a beat when he chuckled. His hoarse voice and hazel eyes looked right into her eyes.
" I have ten minutes to tell why I am meeting you. So will come to my point. I am Siddharth Malhotra, a businessman. I do fund in the daily soaps too. You are an really hardworking actress. No doubt on that but I am not here to speak about your acting skills. And about me, I feel this is the utmost information I could spill to you.
The reason I am meeting you is for something different. I am proposing you a five week of intimate relationship with no strings attached. No relationship, just sexually attached. The only thing which is important about the whole system of this five week is that I would be dominant one in this relationship and you would be my submissive. There are a few rules but I would introduce those rules if you sign this contract. You would be thinking why am I telling you about this. The answer is quite simple, we both are in a business maybe our streams are different, but we endure a lot of stress. Sexual intercourse is the best way to release our stress. No strings attached, we won't see each other after five weeks and most importantly security of privacy is the most crucial part of the contract. After we part our ways we would be still bound to a condition that none of us ever speaks about this five weeks ever in our lives.
This is the contract papers. Read them carefully and take your time. It's completely your decision, if it's yes from your side just text me yes. I would arrange another meeting at my place to discuss the further procedures. My ten minutes are done. Have a good day Miss Shah."
The man said and left the cafe. Shehnaaz stared at him with shock. "Fuck! What was that?" She exclaimed. She stared at the contract file in shock. She read through the papers several times to absorb what the Siddharth had said. Should she opt for this proposal? Will he harm her? Is this the right thing to do? Why had he chosen her? Is he a stalker?
Her heart and mind both looped thoughts which made her head ache. She wasn't able to decide. The warmth in his eyes had embedded in her brain. There was something about this guy which made her feel special. Love? Absolutely not! She took her phone and scrolled through her Instagram to avert her mind but her feed and messages were filled with questions regarding some derogatory fake news that had spread in the industry. Her eyes filled with tears as all the happenings were beyond something she could bear. Things got worse as she received a call from the producers that they were replacing her from the show because of the fake news that were spread.
She reached her house and there she was greeted by her relatives who worsened her situation by taunts. Her parents were in support of her but that didn't help much. Shyam had visited her place to inform her parents that he was getting married to his love of his life. This added fuel to the relatives taunts.
Shehnaaz locked herself in the room assuring her parents that she was fine and needed some space. She took a cold shower and dressed up into her night suit. She laid on the bed pulling her sheets close to herself as she read through the contract again. She wanted an escapism from the happenings. Siddharth, gave her not a deceiving look, he was someone whom she could trust. The contract was very clear and necessary for her mental health she thought.
She did a live session on Instagram to interact with her fans. Messaged a few important people and then texted Siddharth "Yes."
"Great, will pick you up at 2 pm." He texted in a few seconds after recieving.
She heaved a breath and kept her phone aside and dimmed the lights staring at the ceiling until she fell asleep.
