The guards who beat the man were no where to be seen. Shehnaaz sighed as few maids took her bag and brought her towards her room. Her eyes searched for Siddharth.

"Maam, sir's room is in the left corner of this floor. He has asked you to take some rest before he comes back from work." The maid had no smile on her face. Why dosent anyone behave like normal humans. Shehnaaz thought.

She nodded and closed the door. Changing into a simple white traditional gown, she laid on the bed. Within a few seconds her eyes drooped due to tierdness.

It was six in the evening when Siddharth entered the room. His steps stalled as he noticed Sana sleeping like a queen. Her hair was laid all over the pillow and her duppata was dropped over the floor. She slept like a baby with those pink pouted lips.

Siddharth was rooted to his spot not taking his eyes off her. He shook his head  and pursed his lips walking towards her. "Miss Shah." He called her but she turned  in sleep. He carrassed his fingers on her face staring at her beautiful radiant face.

"Miss Shah?" He called her again but there was no reply. He leaned and patted her shoulders. "Miss Shah. Wake up for God's sake!" He sighed which was loud enough her to wake up in jerk.

He moved his hand back swiftly and stuffed it in his pocket. Shehnaaz sat straight still floating between consciousness and sleep. She pushed her hairs back and stared at him with squinted eyes.

"Come for dinner." He said in his gruff tone.

"Seriously? It's six." She uttered in disbelief and checked the wall clock again.

"We have a lot to do tonight."

"Wait. We aren't starting anything tonight?" She asked him.

"Miss Shah. Tumhe samjane mai mujhe ek saal lag jayega. So please listen to me once without questions and have some food. Okay?" Sana puffed her face in anger and nodded her head. Siddharth left the room.

"Kadoos." Shehnaaz mumbled against her breath and went to freshen up.

The dinner was an awkward one. None of them spoke. There were thousands of questions which she wanted to ask but seeing the grumpy man sitting before her she chose to stay quiet.

Siddharth hadn't taken his eyes off her. He noticed how she squirmed in her seat, shuffling and mumbling a few things to herself. She raised her eyes feeling his gaze but it instantly dropped when it met his intense orbs.
