All these years felt as if he was distant from the the light. Though he had every thing, he felt he wasn't fit for the world. He had a loving family once, his dad, mom and a younger sister. He remembers all those memories vividly. So clear that he could see those dining he had while his baby sister would just giggle making some remarks as she clung onto her father. His mother had a serene smile on her face, a smile that he didn't notice all this years but when she saw him with Shehnaaz. The same smile. His heart pounded as he noticed that. There was something about Shehnaaz that made his heart warm. But only he knew that it wasn't the right feeling. It wasn't because he knew the real reason why he had approached her.
Feelings can never be controlled. The fate knew that before it planned cruel way to bring these two people together. Everytime they tried to maintain a distance, there came some or other thing that played to bring them back closer to each other. Closer than ever before.
Siddharth walked downstairs as he noticed Shehnaaz talking to he maid. She had a cup of coffee. Upon noticing Siddharth approaching her, the maid left. "Made this coffee myself." Shehnaaz mumbled as she forwarded towards him to have it. He sipped it as she raised it for him to have it.
"Is it nice?" He nodded his head.
"Are you okay?" He asked her in concern. She looked at him with a confused look. Why won't she be okay? Was there anything that she was missing out? She nodded her head curtly. Siddharth realised that she wasn't aware about what he was speaking off. Instead of speaking about it he chose not to inform her. The following on socials had led to immense speculations of relationship between them in media. Though he knew it didn't affect him and his work. He knew it did affect her, after all she was a public figure. Her job asked for her major part of life to be in public. He embraced her before he left out to work leaving behind a surprised Shehnaaz.
What was wrong with this grumpy guy?
Shehnaaz thought to herself. She managed to do her freelance job as copywriter the whole day and intentionally stayed away from media. She thought about calling her parents as it had been nearly a week she hadn't spoken to them. Though she didn't quite match their thoughts of how acting is not a real career. She respected their view. Not everyone is same and though they didn't like her act, they never stopped her from pursuing her dreams. "Whatever works for you." They always said. She did notice their hesitation as they said those words. She sighed and texted her father who instead called her. She spoke to him about her job and when would she return back to acting.
"And how's your new relationship going on, Sana?" Her dad asked taking her aback.
"Which relationship?" She uttered as her mind wandered on various stuff.
"With Siddharth. It's all over media." He uttered making her mouth widen in horror. Now everything was making sense to her. God! No! She smacked herself.
"It's okay but be careful this time. Don't ruin your reputation. " His voice had a threatening tone laced to it. She very well knew what he was talking about. She had already ruined her career for a man and now she didn't want to make any such mistakes. She cut the the phone and held her head with her palms as she breathed heavily.
She quickly texted Siddharth that she wanted to meet him. He didn't see the message so after waiting for an hour she called him. "What?"
"I want to meet you. Now."
"That's not possible. I am in middle of something."
"No. Please Sid. Now." She requested but her voice trailed at the end as she heard a girl's voice. "Baby, it's our time. Why are you speaking on phone?" Her heart stopped as she listened to the other end. It's happening all over again. The same shit that she had to go through when she was with Harshad and Shyam. She wasn't able to breathe properly and could feel a pit form in her gut. She hanged up the call and held onto the bed as she scrolled down through the articles that was about them. "Are they in relationship?" "The business tycoon and the renowned actress are the new couple in town."
