I woke up to an alarm clock in The Land of Blue. I got up and brushed my hair and teeth. I chose to wear a white tank top, blue skinny jeans, black high-top Converse, and my leather jacket. I had that smokey eye thing going on, and I pulled my hair into a ponytail.

I expected the school day to be a bit weird, I mean, I was coming to school with Kathryn, Kylie, and Rose Conners. What did I expect? Honestly, I expected to fade in the background like I always do. I didn't.

We arrived at school in a stretch Hummer. I got out after the sisters and suddenly people were whispering things like, "Who's the new girl?" And "When did she get here?"

Really, people?! I've been here for years! God, they are as stupid as a bag of shit sometimes. I sighed.

"Hello, people. I am not new. I am Carrie Delreal. I have been here for years." I said. I marched into the school and the girls followed me.

Nothing really happened in any of my classes. But then lunch came. We sat down at a random table and suddenly guys and girls alike came rushing over, trying to get a seat.

"Alright people! Calm down!" Kylie said. "Stop!" Rose screamed and everyone stopped. "Okay. We will choose who sits here," Kathryn said. "Zach, next to Carrie, Ben, next to Rose, Nate, sit by Kylie, and new girl over there can sit by me."

A new girl with wavy long blonde hair and big blue eyes looked at us and said, "Thanks. I'm London." She was wearing a short yellow jacket, a red top, striped short skirt, and red flats.

Zach sat next to me and I know Kathryn did that on purpose. I glanced around the room and saw another girl staring daggers at me with red puffy eyes. I'm guessing that's Zach's new ex. Shit.

I just started eating my sandwich and listened to the conversation around me. "I'm from Hollywood," London said proudly. "Really? I've been there tons of times with our dad!" Kylie gestured at herself, Kathryn, and Rose. "You are related?" London asked.

"Kinda. We were all adopted. Our dad is Aaron Conners, and he wanted children, so he got us." Rose explained. London looked shocked. "Your... Your dad is Aaron Conners?" Kathryn nodded.

"You don't talk much, do you?" Zach asked playfully. "Why are you so quiet?" "No one plans a murder out loud." I said. Zach just looked at me like, What?? So i said, "Just kidding!"

"You have a dark sense of humor." He said. I smiled and nodded.

Thirty minutes later

I was throwing my tray in the trash when I went back to the table to get my binder. Only Zach was left. "Hey, can I ask you a question?" He asked. "You already have," I pointed out. "But yes."

Zach inhaled deeply. "Do you... Want to go out with me?"

God.

What?

My eyes widened. I was not expecting this. "Are you... Are you asking meout on a date?" I asked incredulously. He nodded. "Is that a yes or a yes? Because I won't take no for an answer."

"Um... Sure." I said, still uncertain. He smiled. "Great. I will get you at seven." I nodded. "Wait, where are we going?" I asked as he walked away. "Its a surprise!" He yelled over his shoulder.
