part 3//maggies pov

i got to the bar and ordered a beer, penny still remembered my favorite. bradley came up next to me "i gotta say, i'm impressed" he smirked "what can i say, he gets on my last nerve" i laughed a little and he smiled "honestly i'm surprised you haven't done that to me" i looked up at him and our eyes met "you haven't given me good enough reason to i guess" 

penny brought our beers over to us, interrupting our conversation "here ya go" she said with a smile "thanks pen, it's good to see you again" i smiled back at her and then i turned around and started back for the pool table and then i felt a hand grab my wrist and pull me towards them, my body turned around and i almost ran right into bradley, our faces so close i could feel his warm breath on my face.

he smirked and then nodded his head towards the piano "c'mon. for old times sake" i was blushing slightly but i tried to play it off "what do i get out of it?" i smirked "maybe i'll give you one dance" he smiled "and that makes me change my mind why..?" he frowned slightly "because it's me" he smiled again, i laughed "how about you take me to get some food later instead?" i countered with a smile, causing him to smirk "maggie lawrence, are you asking me on a date?" i raised my eyebrows, realizing that is what it sounds like i'm asking for so i try to play it off "so what if i was?" we're still very close together, i feel him breathe out a shaky breathe 'yes! i'm getting to him!' i thought to myself  "well hypothetically if that was what you're wanting, tonight's not a good night. we have training early tomorrow" he smiled, my wrist still being held by his hand "okay fine. piano now, dinner later" i smiled at him, i leaned up slightly, our lips almost touching, i kissed his cheek, well i kissed the corner of his mouth, just enough to make him want more. i smirked backing away from him and walking towards the piano. he stumbled to follow me, still caught off guard by the half kiss.

i was enjoying toying with him, it was nice almost being friends but i know that by tomorrow morning once training starts, he won't have the same softness in his eyes towards me. i know that tomorrow all of hell will break loose, no longer will i feel anything in my heart for this boy. but right now, right now everything is perfect.

i sat on the piano bench and he sat next to me, he put his arm around my waist and scooted me towards him ever so slightly.  he then put both hands on the piano and started playing "great balls of fire", it's a song that his dad used to play before he died. we screamed the lyrics, laughing the whole time. the other aviators gathered around us and joined in on the shenanigans.

after a while of messing around on the piano, i got up to get one last drink before the bar closes. i sat on one of the stools and penny brought me another beer "looks like you two are having fun" she winked "it's not like that penny!" she laughed "how can it not be, he looks at you like you're the only girl that exists" i blush slightly "tomorrow when we start training, he'll stop the flirting, it'll be a fight to see who's the best. it's how it's always been and it's how it's going to remain" she shook her head "well maybe you should try to put the past behind you, it seems like y'all are very happy together" i paused and took a moment to look at bradley, hes talking with the others, it looks like he's telling a story, using all kinds of hand motions, making everyone laugh. this made me smile. "i'll think about it" i said as i turned back towards penny "i don't think you'll regret it mags, he's a good kid" i nodded and grabbed my beer walking away.

the bar was closing, i walked up to bradley. "cmon bradshaw, bars closin down" he smiled "i suppose it is" he stood up and we made our way out to the parking lot. he walked me to my motorcycle "it's been really fun mags." i turned to look up at him, he was smiling down at me "yeah it has roo, we should do this again sometime" "yeah we should, well goodnight princess" i smiled "goodnight bradley" and with that he brushed a piece of hair behind my ear and kissed my cheek. he turned and walked to his truck, leaving me alone to turn bright red.
