*a little back track to before princess went into g-lock so that y'all can see bradley's pov*

i sat there listening to the radio, keeping tabs on the training that was taking place. suddenly i hear mav yelling for mags "princess! PRINCESS" "oh my gosh she's in g-lock" i hear phoenix say, my eyes widen, my heart racing faster than i thought possible. "i'm going after her" maverick says "cmon princess!" "wake up wake up!" i feel a pit my stomach begin to form 'i can't lose her. i can't' i start to panic then i hear that she had woken up and pulled up, not hitting the ground

. "that was close" phoenix says "too close" maverick replies "BIRD STRIKE BIRD STRIKE" mav yells a few moments go by and i hear mav say "eject eject" i couldn't handle listening anymore, i got up and walked out. i didn't know where i was going i just couldn't be there. i ended up at the beach, watching the waves crash onto the shore. what started as minutes turned into hours. eventually i got up, i needed to make sure maggie was okay. so i headed to her room.

now i stood there in her room, the room of the girl that i had quickly fallen for. she stood there in my arms, sobbing into my chest. i felt my eyes water and a singular tear escape and trickle down my cheek. she pulls away and she goes to wipe her tears, her face turns a light tinge of pink out of embarrassment. i grab her hand, stopping her from wiping her tears. i take my free hand and i wipe my tear away and then i wipe hers. i leave my hand resting on her cheek,

she looks at me, suddenly there was anger in her eyes. "where the heck were you??" she questions "i-" "you what?! all i wanted was to see you after i almost died. i waited for hours and you never showed up!" she cuts me off "i couldn't stay there" i state "you couldn't wait to see if i was alive! you gave up on me that quickly?" there was hurt laced in her tone "no mags, i- i couldn't just sit there and listen to you die. i can't lose anyone else. i can't lose you." i start to cry 'what the heck man, you never cry' i think to myself. she just stares at me, not knowing what to say.

she reaches up and wipes the tears that are pouring down my face. "bradley" she says softly, i meet her eyes. "i love you." she states, i search her eyes, looking for any sign that she was lying to me. "i love you more than anything, maggie lawrence." she smiles "i know" she leans up and kisses me, and i kiss back. my hands are instantly on her waist, pulling her closer to me. her hands go up to my neck, wrapping around it. we pull away, out of breath. "gosh mags, i could kiss you forever." "sounds good to me" she says and i laugh.

"i'm never leaving you." she says resting her head on my shoulder "maggie?" "yes?" "will you marry me?" her head snaps up to look me in my eyes "what?!??" i laugh "not right now. but someday? someday will you say yes and be maggie grace bradshaw?" i say, intertwining our fingers together "yes. i would love nothing more than to spend forever with you bradley." she smiles at me and i feel complete. one day, one day maggie will be all mine.
