"Phir, wake your ass up." Was the first thing that Hasaan had heard that early 9 A.M morning from his closest friend Osama who had stood by the cell door alongside Kasim who looked as if he had just awaken himself.
"Nigga woke you up too huh?" Hasaan finally says after rubbing the crust out of his eyes.
Unlike Kasim, Hasaan had grown used to Osamas hyper tendencies so this was hardly new to him. Osama was the definition of the hyper best friend while Hasaan, on the other hand was really chill and laidback for the most part.
"Say man, what was it you wanted to tell us so damn bad."Kasim yawned half way through the sentence before he welcomed himself to sit as Hasaan's desk.
"So I made this profile on this lil website—
"Lord here he go." Hasaan said rolling his eyes. "It is too early for your bullshit and no Amazon is not gon deliver you no package."
"Mmcht well if you listened and shut the fuck up, you'd know that wasn't what I was bout to say!"
"So what were you going to say nigga?" Kasim asked.
"Yall gon learn to appreciate me." Osama mumbled. "Now as I was saying." He spoke up. "I joined this luh website called Write a Inmate and tell me why, first I join and not even four or five hours later a shordy text me."
Kasim and Hasaan both raised their eyebrows. "Nigga how do you be finding out about this shit? What shordy is texting a nigga in jail."
"TikTok." Osama said in a duh tone. "Now anyway, the type of shordy that's clearly sick of the niggas out and free."
"Word so what that gotta do with us?" Kasim said playing oblivious— he knew what Osama was hinting at.
"Yall niggas should sign up!" Osama said making Hasaan furrow his eyebrows.
"For what?" He asked. "For a shordy who gon most likely waste my time."
"Nigga we got damn near 30 years in here." Osama smartly responded. "We ain't got shit but time, if anything it's their time being wasted."
