this is much shorter than usual because schoolwork may have just killed my fingers and i couldn't type much. anyway, goblin is the best kdrama i've watched so far. the romance, the characters, the plot, the lore, the angst- i could go on and on about how amazing that show is.  hope you enjoy this!!

"Y/n!! The package is here!!" You heard your lovely girlfriend yell from her living room. Putting down the book you were reading, you went to where Sunny was.

"You didn't open it?" You asked.

"No, I wanted to open it with you." She smiled, motioning for you to sit down next to her on the fluffy carpet, which you did. "Oh crap!- I forgot the scissors, wait here." Sunny ran to the kitchen and came back with a pair of black plastic scissors.

You cut open the cardboard box carefully, along the straightest line you have ever seen. Beside you, Sunny watched the whole thing unfold like a delicate operation, internally jumping in excitement. By the time you were done, she zealously unboxed the parcel and took out the air fryer, all under 30 seconds. You reached in for the instructions and proceeded to brief through them.

"What does it say?" Sunny asked.

"Just the normal stuff, after doing some prep work, we should be able to fry the chicken from last night. Is it still marinating in the fridge?"

"Yeah, I haven't taken it out yet."

"Good, don't take it out."

The next couple hours were spent by you and Sunny making dad jokes and karaage.

"What do you do when you reach home from work?" You asked, with potato starch stuck in your hair.

"I usually just crash on the sofa-"

"So you don't unlock your door? Or even open it?"

Waiting for the air fryer to finish frying was what bored the heck out of you so just talked about... random things.

"My brother, he's a real pain to deal with sometimes. He just disappears and reappears whenever he feels like it and it's usually the worst time." Sunny ranted to you, completely oblivious to what you were doing.

"Yeah, anyway so, if the karaage is ruined, what do you want to eat for dinner?" You scrolled down on your phone.

Finally, all the hard work was over and all you had to do was taste your creations. Sunny had done an incredible job on the marinade, while you timed the cook time just right. All this showed in the final product, which you two didn't even leave crumbs of.

"That was nice." Your girlfriend muttered, kind of disappointed the chicken was gone.

"It was. Wanna watch a movie?"

"If only I pick what we're watching."
