Final Fantasy

Part 21

My alarm rings and I pop out of bed immediately and rush into the bathroom to get ready. I'm so excited to see Kade today that I don't even register if I'm tired or not. It's ridiculous that I miss him this much when I literally saw him yesterday morning, but it's just something about him that makes me unable to stay away. I write a little note for the girls explaining where I am and leave it on the counter before grabbing my bags and hopping in my car. I grab a coffee and breakfast on the road and finally start my road trip to see my boy. Two hours later I'm standing outside his door. I can barely contain my excitement and decide to do more then just knock on his door. First I send him a Snapchat with his schools tag on the bottom. He opens it and sends a question mark, to which I just reply with a smiley face. He sends another snap asking why I sent his school tag and I leave it on read for a few minutes when a FaceTime call comes through. It's Kade of course and I press my phone speaker to his door so he can hear the ringtone I have specially for him. I wait a moment and hear shuffling in the room. His door flies open and my smile covers my whole face when I see him. "Valerian?" He looks confused and I'm guessing he's had another sleepless night. "Surprise baby!" I say with little jazz fingers. He looks puzzled for a few more seconds and then a smile breaks out onto his face and he pulls me into a rib crushing bear hug. "Valerian!" He says in excitement and brings his lips to mine. "Hi." I giggle as he kisses playfully down my jaw and cheeks. "What are you doing here?" He asks. Oh right, I came for more then just a surprise visit. My smile falters a little but then I force it back to its full extent. I'll talk to him about it a little later, for now I just need to be with him. "I wanted to see my favourite boy." I say as he takes my bags and drags me into the room after him. He asks me about school and I explain how most of my assignments I can do from here and my teachers are way more lenient then his. "Ah baby I'm so happy you're here, this is perfect. I'm going to show you all around campus and introduce you to everyone, and bring you to my favourite places." He goes on for a few minutes in his excited state and then pulls me into another hug. Yup this was definitely better then FaceTiming him with the news. My phone buzzes and I step away from Kade slightly to see who it's from. It's a text from Maleek asking if I'd arrived safely and if we wanted to join the boys for breakfast. I check with Kade that it is ok and then make a plan with Maleek to meet him in twenty minutes. Kade throws on some clothes and I do some touch ups before we head to the meeting spot. "Hey princess!" Sean shouts and jogs over to hug me. "Hi Sean." I giggle when he finally lets me go. We walk over to the rest of the boys and I greet them all. I'm such a sucker for my brothers it's a wonder I was able to go so long without seeing them before. "Alright I'm starved let's go eat." Rickie says and claps his hands together. We head to a diner they say is their favourite and we enjoy a nice breakfast together.
