The rainfall kept growing louder and more frequent the more Anakin listened to it. He finally decided to just give up on sleep after a few hours of it eluding him and stood up with a sigh, walking away from the tree he was leaning up against and staring out into the forest. The gunship hovering above gave some cover from the rain, but Anakin didn't dare try to sleep under it in case the vines holding it up decided to give way and crush him beneath it.

Some clones were brave enough to do so, as three of them slept leaned against each other under the ship's cover. Under the morning light shrouded by storm clouds he could barely make them out, but the Force let him see what his eyes couldn't. He walked over and sat down against a tree that had cover from a larger tree above, tracing a shape in the dirt with his mechanical hand as he did so.

Only five clones and Rex had been in the gunship, luckily everyone had survived the crash and were unharmed due to the soft landing the vines gave them as opposed to a tree. Anakin wasn't sure how long he'd sat there, but eventually the rain subsided to a sprinkle and the sunlight grew as the sun rose and the clouds faded to lighter, less aggressive storms.

He felt a small flicker in the Force, as if someone had just dropped a stone into a calm pond and caused a ripple. He stiffened and looked around with a frown, unable to identify what exactly the disturbance was but knowing from experience that a change that small and subtle wasn't dangerous. Nevertheless he was intrigued, reaching out and closing his eyes to detect it.

Anakin felt the presence radiating off of someone nearby, someone asleep. It felt like it did when someone was dreaming and their emotions changed due to the dream, but it had to be a powerful dream in order to send out a tremor in the Force around them. The tremor felt negative, so it must be a nightmare. The Jedi frowned. Must be a hell of a nightmare, like the ones he used to have: Obi-Wan would check on him occasionally back in his apprenticeship because his negative tremors in the Force were so constant that it had awoken his master, who in turn had to wake him up to be rid of them.

As Anakin walked closer to the tremor he heard fast, shallow breathing; definitely a nightmare. Through the extra sunlight filtered through the trees he saw a flash of red skin move jarringly and realized it was Ahsoka who was dreaming so loudly.

As he observed her he realized her breathing never slowed down to normal, however her body only jolted a few times. Her eyelids flickered and her body was tense but still for the most part, until she woke up and sprung up to a sitting position so quickly that even Anakin jumped from it.

"Gah!" He exclaimed lightly, staring at the padawan in shock. Ahsoka's round eyes looked around before settling on him staring at her, and she suddenly became very bashful.

"Oh, I'm sorry for frightening you, Master." She apologized immediately, standing up and stretching. "I'm a bit of a restless sleeper."

"Yeah, a bit of a restless waker, too." Anakin acknowledged, eyeing her closely. The kid appeared perfectly unaffected by whatever nightmare she was having, meaning it must occur a lot. What had she seen?

Ahsoka gave a hint of a smile and a small exhale passing for a laugh. "That too." She admitted.

Soon enough the rest of the men were up and about, gathering their packs and getting ready for a briefing Anakin was about to hold regarding the Separatist stronghold they needed to attack. The Jedi walked to a small patch of flat land, large enough for the eight of them, and put his commlink on a large stump before projecting an image of the stronghold and looking over it in preparation for what he was to say.

He glanced back towards the kid, suddenly having an urge to call her over and help him. She was just a padawan, but she looked like she needed someone to rescue her from standing and staring anyways. "Hey, kid!"
