Annie's POV

         "Can i sit here?"
He suddenly asked me when his parents has seated.

The round table has five chairs, exactly for us.

"Uhm, to the other side please. This is my father's seat"
I politely answered, referring to the chair beside me.

What the heck, he wants to sit beside me? No way! His parents are even watching us now!

"Oh... Okay then" he said. I even saw a glimpse of his smirk, aish.

"Now let's ask Mr. Alhvin to give his speech and greetings to everyone. President, please.."
His secretary politely said as she hand over the microphone to my father.

Dad hold it as he look around, and around, until his gaze stopped into me. He surprisingly stare at me for three seconds before he started speaking.

"Ladies and gentlemen, good evening. Ah, first of all, thank you so much for deciding to celebrate this day with me, i appreciate all of your presence. To my closest company, you know yourselves...Mondejar Company, Santos Group, Xiaver Corp., and to all those people who supports MGroup. "

Umpisa niya.

I rolled my eyes because i know what he's thinking. I glance to Josh's direction and gasp when i saw him staring firmly to me.

I immediately look away and heard him chuckle.

Haist.. It's making me crazy, you're making me crazy Josh..

"If i will count, I've been in this business industry for 25 years, half of my age. In that 25 years, everyone always says, i am outstanding and very good businessman. I contributed a lot to our country, the so called king of marketing. They said, i will be perfect in every aspects...but they are actually wrong.. "

He continued.

His face was in the big screen in the stage so i can clearly see his glittering eyes.

"There's actually an aspect that i am a complete failure... And that is being a father to my only daughter"

I was stunned when he said those. His eyes are still fixed to me as the spotlight focused to me and my face is now on the screen. I was a bit uncomfortable at first because people started looking at me in unison, but then he continued.

"I remember, when we had quarrels several years ago, she yelled at me...she said; 'buong buhay ko, hindi kita naramdamang ama ko..' and that was when i realised, she's right, all of my life i am just a successful business man and i totally forgot that i am actually a father... "

The way we quarrels once we meet, the way we look at each other like as if we're strangers....all of those.
