Another update because why not...Let's go into it

      •TEN🌠

TOMIDE walked into the studio with the new lights and equipment he had gotten from Amazon while the others trailed behind to carry the heavy stuff they had made him carry months ago and how he had fatefully encountered Diane and so many times he wants to go back so it never happened. Her appearance at the studio almost every day was upsetting and annoying. If he wanted to hire a couch seater he would have but she had turned his studio into her third home and he didn't want her to feel too comfortable.

He was happy he had decided to travel this time after missing last year's travel to Zanzibar in Tanzania, an annual travel hobby he had picked up to relax and explore instead of remaining in Nigeria the whole year. His trip to South Africa had been impromptu and it was just what he needed before he got busy with his new business plans and Lagos fashion week coming up soon. After getting everything ticked on his list from paying rent, to doing some more paying of bills that wouldn't be a problem for the next two weeks he would be away.

Samuel was still in Port Harcourt while Nimi was always busy with work, leaving home by 6 am and getting back by 9 pm and most Saturdays he was either at a wedding or with his friends. Everyone was busy with their lives so Tomide wasn't bothered about the people he would be leaving for two weeks, the studio in Tony's hands would be the best decision while the house was safe with Nimi coming in like a ghost.

Tony helped him carry the last box from the booth as they wheeled it into the airport an hour before Tomide's said departure. Tony waved bye and left Tomide to check in and wait for the call for his flight. The air hostess by the gate was polite and smiley as she gave him his ticket and pointed to the door he would go through into the business class wing.

His seat was next to the window and he was happy, the airline business class wing was different from most business class he had entered. He stopped by his seat, opened the upper convoy to put his bag, and as he was about to seat he noticed the petite woman wearing a black face cap, a brown hoodie with cream pants and immediately the image of Diane filled his vision. The woman rose her head up away from the fashion magazine she had been reading and removed the face cap, adjusted the long straight wig, and turned to him and his breath hitched.

"What the fuck?" He said almost loud for the captain to hear. "Why are you here?"

"Hi, Mr Olu Davies." She shined her thirty-two, turned away and wore her headphones. Tomide was still on his feet when the hostess came toward him asking if there was a problem with his seat and if she could change it. He looked around but there was no empty seat and she confirmed it and apologized for the inconvenience.

Tomide sat and tried all his best not to look at the last lady he wanted to see next to him. He didn't exactly want to be pissed seeing her every day become a thing but he was surprised she was there, next to him and why she was quiet scared him. The plane took off and he relaxed a bit as the flight would be very long and stressful with just having Diane there.

He pulled out his phone and headphones, played music from his playlist, and sank into the airplane seat finding comfort in it.

Diane made Tony talk and spill every detail of Tomide's trip to South Africa. She made sure she got everything, from the flight time, the airline, the hotel, the car, and the adventures so she could prepare the kind of clothes to pack with her but Tony didn't know much about the tourist centers Tomide would go to, so she went on to google her life saver for fun tourist attractions in Cape Town, South Africa.

The flight booking was harder than she thought, especially trying to get the seat next to Tomide's, not opposite but side by side was the hardest task of her life, especially in three days. She had to ask Her father who came to the rescue after asking a lot of personal questions she wanted private. She had thought twice about asking Mr Remi Macaulay and it took a lot to ask for his help, especially because at the mention of his name doors would be opened. His connection with a lot of people from anywhere and everywhere always came to their rescue within twenty four hours and the joy of getting the seat next to Tomide overshadowed her fuss about not using Daddy's name.
