•ELEVEN 🌠

IF Tomide knew Diane would be on the same flight with him to South Africa he would never have planned a trip to South Africa but here he was being disturbed by the last person he wanted to see on earth. Early morning she had woken him up with a banging on the door inviting him for breakfast by 8 am when he should be resting which he came to SA for. A vacation, no disturbance, no work-related stuff, just good vibes and happiness before it partially fades when he's back to Lagos.

He had survived the breakfast which for the first time she was chatty and he did not bother to listen to anything she said since his head was preoccupied with thoughts on how to escape Diane for the next fourteen days. He had looked for the hotel carefully, he would not change the hotel because of a little spoilt brat he did not want to see.

Tomide went back into his room to get his camera bag before he head out for his adventure quietly not to attract Diane who he had not seen since breakfast and was happy he didn't run into her. He got into the elevator, his camera bag hanging on his shoulder, he pulled out his phone from his grey joggers' pants which he paired with a plain black tee shirt, he texted his family talking about his coincidental but suspicious encounter with Diane as they also mocked Nini for getting a girlfriend in the same office.

He walked outside and towards the rental car he got for his trip so he wouldn't always pay for Uber and have easy access to get anywhere he wanted at any time. As he was about to get into the car, he heard a loud "stop" shout and he paused, then looked up to see Diane rushing towards him wearing denim bum shorts and a very cropped top that could pass as a bikini with short sleeves and a palm slippers, while the small shoulder bang kept falling as she rushed. The weather was hot so he didn't fault her for the cloth she put on and the fact she looked really good and her beautiful chocolate smooth skin.

"Since we are here together... I will join." She got into the car without an invitation. Tomide shook his head as he got into the car. "So where are we going?" She asked all smiley.

"You would see." He said taking a look at her outfit, smiling sheepishly as an idea popped into his head as he typed the address of the location he was thinking about. Mountain climbing should discourage her. He thought shaking his head as he started the car and let the GPS lead him.

They soon reached their destination only for him to realize he was supposed to book for her as well. The worker there told him he could pay now, so he did and went back to get his camera bag and Diane. Most of the time as they walked on the mountain, Diane got tired and would rest for a short while before they get to continue. He was laughing inside but at no time did she give up and tell him she would like to head back.

They continued walking, he let her be in front of him in case of accidents that might occur. He switched on his camera getting distracted by the amazing view from where he stood and stopped to snap the view from where they were standing. Diane had already walked forward not realizing he was not behind her anymore. He got distracted by the view he kept snapping with his camera he didn't hear Diane run towards him until she fell.

Tomide's head snapped towards the scream and quickly took his bag and ran towards her. Diane was seated on the floor her left slippers still on her leg while the right which had been cut sat next to a tree. He bent to see if she had been injured, even though he wanted her to leave he didn't want her injured.

"Are you injured?" He asked concerned.

She shook her head as she planned to stand up but something stopped her from standing. "I think it's broken." She looked at her poor right ankle. "That stupid slippers made me slide."

"Sorry."

"It's fine. I invaded your trip and should have worn sneakers." He pulled her up and she shook her leg and made a funny announcement laughing.
