Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Fate Breaker

(Ch. 1) Vibrant City

The two Pokémon arrive at the city and they stop and stare at all the tall buildings and tons of Pokémon walking around. I can see why this is called "Vibrant" City... Sukia thinks to herself, noting all the different kinds of Pokémon going about their daily lives. The Pokémon were cheerful, living their peaceful lives in the bustling city. Sukia looked over to Eevee and grinned when she saw the awestruck look in his big brown eyes as he looks all around.

Eevee then gave a rough shake of his head as if trying to snap himself out of it and then he looks up at his companion. "Alright! Time to look for the Guild. Maybe we should ask around?" Eevee suggests and Sukia gives a nod. The two look around before spotting three Pokémon outside what looked like a Pokémon daycare and they walk over to them.

A male Raichu and female Alolan Raichu could be seen leaving a Pichu with a Chansey. The father Raichu was telling their child to behave for Chansey and play nice with the other young Pokémon meanwhile the mother kissed the Pichu on the head. When Chansey and Pichu went into the cozy looking building that looked like the daycare, Eevee and Sukia approached the couple. Eevee was the first to speak. "Hello! Do you have a moment to spare? Me and my friend are looking for the Ultimate Exploration Guild."

The Alolan Raichu smiled when looking at the Eevee and Vulpix. "Oh! Are you interested in becoming adventurers?" Eevee gave a nod of his head and her smile grew gentle. "How cute. The Guild is right up that road there-" She says while pointing at a brick road that lead uphill.

"Thank you, ma'am." Eevee says politely before looking at Sukia. "Alright, this is it!" There was an excited spark in his eyes and he turned around to take off down the street that would lead up to the Guild. But right as he turned around, a Perrserker walked by and pushed Eevee by the shoulder without even seeing the smaller Pokémon and Eevee fell to the ground with a loud "Oof!"

Sukia's eyes flew wide in surprise and quickly hurried to his side to see if he was ok. "Eevee!" The Vulpix relaxed when she sees him stand back up with a shake of his fur.

"Hey, watch it!" The Perrserker snaps as he looks down at Eevee and Vulpix, clearly blaming the two of them for the collision. And Nickit and Murkrow were next to him.

"Excuse me?" Sukia glared up at the Perrserker, annoyed that the Perrserker was blaming them when he was the one that ran into them.

"These guys look like they're bad news, lets just go." Eevee whispers nervously to Sukia as he looked from the smirking Nickit to the Murkrow who kept squinting at the two of them.

"What're you looking at?" Sukia then sassed the Murkrow and his squint turned into a glare.

"S- Suki!" Eevee protested loudly while looking between her and the other three Pokémon.

"Why? They bumped into us first." Sukia says with a curled lip without taking her eyes off of the three, the female Vulpix refusing to back down.

"Looks like we got ourselves a wise guy here! Do you have any idea who we are?" The Perrserker cackled as the female Nickit stepped between him and her Murkrow follower.

"A buncha hoodlums?" Sukia mumbled with sarcasm as the Perrserker's cockiness turned into frustration.

"You got some nerve!" Murkrow squawked at Sukia, his black feathers all ruffled up.

"You're messing with the wrong team, sister." The Nickit had an equal sass in her tone as she got into Sukia's face. The two female, fox Pokémon glared daggers into each other's eyes. Nickit was obviously the leader out of the trio.

A cocky smirk crosses Sukia's lips and her voice has a mock in it with her next words. "Oh yeah? How about you prove it? Buddy."

"SUKI!!" Eevee shouts with his fur bristling as he looked between the Pokémon back and forth repeatedly with panic. Even nearby Pokémon stopped and stared at the confrontation.
