Exhausted by constant war and casualties from the Second World War, Vietnam War, Suez Canal Crisis and the attempted ocuppation of Japan the British people became exhausted with the conservative government that had led Britain through all these conflicts, the alongside the weakening of the British Empire and the enforcement of the idea that the British could no longer project their own policies without the support of the United States led to mass seperatist movement within Norther Ireland, who eventually succeeded from the United Kingdom and Joined the Republic of Ireland, now the the British only having the lands of Great Britain incorporated the government decided to rename itself in order to reflect this new reality in 1961 thus the Federation of Britain came into being.
