He sighed, he couldn't stop crying even if he wanted too.

"Like what type of weird?"
Robin asked stealing the Walkie from Dustin earning a 'Hey!' "Shut up Dustin!" Erica yelled.
"Uh- well he was quiet the whole ride. Like dead silent and when we got to his house he just- shouted for his mom and dad- like a joke?" Eddie sighed curling strands of his hair. "Yeah he's sad, he's done that before Eddie.. go check on him." Robin sighed, "for all of our sakes." Lukas and Dustin said in sync.
"Alright- but if he yells at me im coming to y'all's place." Eddie joked as he turned the Walkie off and headed up the stairs to his room.
He quickly sighed and busted threw the door only to see Steve with a pillow over his face. "Um Steve? You okay."
"I'm fine Eddie just go away." Steve sniffled as he wiped his eyes, "you don't seem fine." Eddie said and sat on the side of his bed. "I'm just tired.." he said looking up at him not removing the pillow. "You're crying. Cmere." eddie laid back and held open his arms for the boy to cuddle in.
"what's wrong man.."
"I-I'm just, I miss my parents. and I'm tired, everyone's just acting like nothing ever happened. And frustrating."
Steve groaned and buried his face into Eddie's chest.
"I almost died. And for what? We did nothing besides figure out how vecnas making the portals. And he's killings to make them, how do we know who's next.."
He gripped on Eddie's shirt not wanting cry again.
"You can let it out Steve.. I'm
not good with emotions n sobby stuff but I'm here."
Eddie smiled as he heard the brunette chuckle. "Thank you, for uh Y'know?" Steve sighed "I just feel lonely all the time. And crying, god I hate it but I- I just can't stop...c-can we just kinda stay like this.." Steve sighed and scooted closer to him.
"Yeah, yeah we can."
Eddie's smile grew wider and he messed with the brunettes hair.
After a while of small talk and sad laughs they both had fell asleep.
Each of them forgetting about anything that happened.
