-chp1- Lets walk?.

Pulling up to Eddie's trailer Steve messed with his hair nervously, 'you got this Steve! It's just a one time thing.'
He let out a stiff laugh and got out, walking up to his door he knocked in a pattern that Robin had told him.
'This is so stupi-' His thought cut short as the door creaked open reveling Eddie who looked a bit spooked, "hair-rington?"
His face shifted as Steve's dropped.
"Really? Really Munson." He sighed and rubbed his Tempels, "yes really, King Steve shows up at my door for what."
"Drugs?" Eddie laughed and moved away from the door letting Steve walk in, "no actually- I wanted to see if you wanted to uh-" he froze as he shifted on both his legs "wanted to what?" Eddie questioned.
"To go for a walk Y'know down there by lovers lake?" At that Eddie burst out laughing uncontrollably.
"Li-Like a date!"- "WHAT!- NO" Steve flushed in annoyance "if you don't want to just say that!" He groaned and started to walk out the door.
"Wait wait- I'll go!" the man sighed and wiped tears away from his face just let me grab a few things.
'YAYY!' He mentally face palmed himself and walked to his car and hopped in.

A few minutes later Eddie came out with his normal leather jacket and vest with a joint slightly hanging from his mouth,
"Ya ready ta go Stevie boy?" Eddie smiled and put on his seatbelt. "You actually wear you're seatbelt?" Steve snorted and cranked his BMW, "uh yea? Ya never know And plus I don't know how you drive." Eddie chuckled and looked out the window and stuffed the joint into his pocket.
"I drive better than you that's for damn sure." He scoffed and pulled out of the trailer park, "so why did you ask me to go for this walk in the first place?"
Steve glanced at Eddie and quickly turned back to the road.
"I don't know? I got bored and robins busy and I wanted to hang out with someone- more- like my age." He gulped up a lie as came to a stop.
"Uh-hun, well then that's good for you! Finally not being a weirdo!" Eddie laughed and patted Steve on the back. "But- you literally run a club abt D&B with kids!" He scoffed and shimmied the others hand of his back, "it's D&D! And that's different!" Crossing his arms he looked back out the window.
"Sure it is." Steve smiled and drove off and away from the stop sign.

About thirty mins maybe an hour of driving they finally made it, "Let's go" Steve got out and waited in front for Eddie who you got out right after.
"Where to Harrington?" Eddie smiled and walked in front of him, "anywhere, anywhere at all." Steve chuckled and followed behind him. "So, you wanna tell me the real reason you dragged me out here?" He sighed as he lit his joint, Steve watched carefully as he pulled the smoked in and blowing it out slowly.
"Uh- I already told you?" He grunted as he looked away, "I don't buy it-" -"yea we'll you should." Steve shrugged. "You want to try it? Maybe it'll calm you down?" He smirked offering it to him,
"sure.." glaring he took it from him, their hands brushed slightly. Eddie didn't notice but Steve did and it was enough to spike his nervous system. Steve inhaled carefully, coughing a bit he exhaled rather quickly,
"there ya go Harrington.." he smirked looking at him as he took another hit.
"Holy shit-" Steve laughed at himself before smiling down at the man.
"You're pretty for a guy Harrington." He smiled as he took a big drag, "y-you're pretty to Eddie." He flushed and looked out on to the lake. "Y'know why they call it lovers lake?" - "why?" Eddie chuckled as he handed it back to Steve.
"They say two lovers were running and they were like big time criminals right?" "Nooo way" Eddie laughed, "YEAH!- anyways, one time they were being chased by the cops and people say it was named lovers lake because thats where their loved died when they were "killed'" Steve smiled.
"You made that up didn't you Steve?" He looked up at him, "pfft- yea- No!" He jumped in defense. "Oh you so did!" "HAHA!" Eddie burst out laughing "shut up!" He yelled and stuck his foot out in-front of the male who then tripped.
"Fuc-" "fuck you harrington." Groaning he rolled onto his back and glared at him, "yea I bet you'd like to-" Eddie smirked as Steve looked around in shock. "Whoah- Stevie Stevie!" dusting his pants off he wrapped an arm around the boy,  "didn't know you rolled that way~" he teased.
"I don't!" Steve scoffed and stormed on walking back to his car. "I was only joking Steve!" He chuckled and ran behind the male.

Making it back tot he car Steve got in and laid his seat back, Eddie followed the joint long forgotten about.
"You okay man? I was just joking.." Eddie sighed fiddling with his hair, "I'm fine." Steve yawned and rubbed his face.
"Can I tell you something?" He sighed and looked at Eddie, "Yeah of course?" Eddie laughed nervously.
"I asked you to go on this walk to apologize, Y'know for Highschool."
Steve sighed and sat up.
"What's done is done man!"
Eddie chuckled.
"You sure?"
"Yeah!" Eddie smiled, "hm?- alright" Steve smiled and started his car. "We could maybe go on another walk sometime?" He questioned Steve as he pulled off.
"yea I'd like that" he sighed calmly,
"I'd like that too.." Eddie smiled to himself as he stared out the window.
And with that they drove off.
