Today is the day I don't like. The day nobody liked. It's the day when after a good relaxing weekend, you are forced to go back to your mundane boring life.

Yes, Today is Monday. Usually, I hated all the Mondays as they spoil my happy mood with the workload but today was a little different. I am a bit happy today. Do you know why?

Because today is the day when I will be officially Minho's translator. Yeah yeah, that is also work, but I am excited.

I always wanted to be a translator and this was my first step towards my dream. I am happy and excited, partly because it was my dream and partly because my boss is hot and dashing.

I will be able to spend more time with Minho and he may fall in love with me just like in kdramas. This thought made me smile as I chose my dress for today. I wore a white t-shirt tucked in with blue jeans. I deliberately didn't choose formals as Minho said I can wear anything.

So I mixed formal white t-shirt with casual Blue jeans. I spent half an hour on this and next I straightened my hair. I was thinking of wearing stylish black boots but then I chose casual white sneakers. Yeah, yeah I am paying too much attention to my look. But what can I say, I want to look perfect for the meeting.

I came out of my room all dressed up and sat on the breakfast table. I was eating my breakfast, when Emily turned to me,
"Why are you smiling like that? Today is Monday! You hate Mondays right? You always sulk on the breakfast table when Monday comes. But today you look bright and fresh as daisy. Are you really Sarah?"

She touched my forehead, "Are you sick?"

I knew she was teasing me.

"Oh stop it," I complained.

Alex came to my rescue, "Emily, leave Sarah alone. Focus on your breakfast. It's getting cold."

He was sitting right next to me. I patted his shoulder and said, "Aww, thank you, Alex. You are my hero."

Emily shot up, "Hey, Sarah's Hero! why are you being my mummy today?" She pretended to be angry?

Alex pulled her cheek and said, "Then stop acting like a spoiled kid."

Emily screamed, "Ouchh"

We knew she was acting. But she seemed in a mood to get revenge. She stood up and sat on Alex Lap.

Her back was towards us. While her face was exactly in front of him.

She pulled his both cheeks with her hands.
Alex said, "Will you please let me have my breakfast?"
Emily was in a spoiled child mood and said, "No. I won't"

Alex wrapped his hand around her tiny waist, pulled her more closer. He looked right into her eyes and whispered,
"Are you sure? I think I am hungrier now, but I don't crave breakfast."

Emily's face turned red. She came to her seat and quietly ate her breakfast.

I and Minho have now become accustomed to their Romantic bickering. We just continued our breakfast quietly while we fully ignored them.

After we finished our breakfast, Minho briefed me about the meeting and the clients. We need to meet one investor today.

We went to a fancy restaurant and waited for Mr. Masaru Nakamura. I ordered a drink for myself while Minho was busy with his documents.

I was sipping my drink and looked calm but inside I was bursting with nervousness. I could feel the sweat on my hands and my heart was beating very fast. This was my first professional meeting as a translator.

Just then Minho touched my arm and said, "Don't worry. You can do it."

I felt a bit calm as he looked straight into my eyes. My heart was still beating fast but it wasn't because of the meeting.

I could feel the warmth of his hand on my arm. I felt a bit confident as he showed his trust in me.

After 5 minutes, Mr. Nakamura came in. As I have heard that the Japanese are very punctual, Mr. Nakamura came in, actually 5 mins earlier than the decided meeting time. He was surprised as well as impressed to see that we were there even before him.

He smiled at us as we greeted him. I thought Mr. Nakamura would be an old man but it turned out that he was only 2 years older than me. He was quite young. I introduced myself as a translator. He seemed relieved that he didn't need to speak English as he joked that his English wasn't that great.

Everything went smoothly. I was actually able to translate the whole conversation. Minho as well as Mr. Nakamura were very supportive and even when I stuttered a bit as I was nervous, they waited for me to end.

In the end, Mr. Nakamura agreed to our offer and we decided to meet again soon to discuss the further details. I was actually in Awe. Mr. Nakamura was quite young to be a major investor.

When the meeting ended, we had our lunch with him and he was quite friendly. Minho explained how Mr. Nakamura started from an early age and now has his own brand of clothes.

I realized that he was the owner (ローラ) Rora brand. I loved their clothes. They were so comfortable and trendy. It was such an honor for me, to meet the owner of Rora brand.

As the official meeting had ended, we talked like friends, and let me tell you Mr. Nakamura or Masaru san (San is kind of a suffix used with names in japan) was a very cool person. He was very friendly as well as funny. We talked as if we have known each other for a long time.

He had another meeting so he left early but before leaving, he smiled at me and said, "I would like to meet Sarah san again."

I instantly replied, "Watashi mo" which means same for me, or me too.

Just then Minho spoke up and said, "We both would love to meet you again."

There was sarcasm in his tone. Maybe I was overthinking. Yeah. That must be.

Well, they both shook hands and the meeting ended.
