My eyes are always searching for you

Chapter 38

The bottle was spun and it stopped at Minho again.
He chose dare and the dare was "Call your Ex and tell her you want her back."

I thought who would have left a hot and caring guy like Minho. But what if she takes this dare too seriously and comes back to Minho? What if the girl in the picture that is in his wallet is her? What if he still loves her and through this dare wants to confess to her that he wants her back? aahhhhh! why? why did he get this dare in the first place? why God? why?

I was looking up at the ceiling again but it seems that the ceiling couldn't change the fact that he may want her back. Wait a minute? why am I even thinking about his ex? why am I stressed out? It's his life and his choice at the end of the day. well, it's his loss if he doesn't like me and wants to go back to his useless Ex. I flicked my hair and rolled my eyes.

A voice inside me shouted do you really think it's his loss? and not yours?  My shoulders drooped, why am I so honest with myself?  well, I ended this headquarters meeting in my head and paid attention to what Minho was up to.

I thought he will do it but he instantly grabbed the drink that was placed in the middle and drank it.

wow, that was quick. I guess he really hates his ex. Don't even want to do a dare with her. Hehe. why am I feeling happy? Focus Sarah Focus.

Then Suddenly Aiko stood up and said, "I need to go back. I have a morning shift and it's already too late."

So we stopped the game. Everyone wished me birthday again and went back home.

Emily and Alex went back to their room. I was heading back but saw Minho's face was a bit red.

He was sitting on the sofa with his head bending down. I brought a glass of water for him from the kitchen as I knew he must be drunk.

"Minho, have some water," I said.

He looked up and smiled at me. That was a smile that I had never seen on his face. He looked cute while he was drunk. He took the glass and drank it.  "I'll drink more for you, Sarah." He said.

I didn't know what he meant so I ignored it and said, "Go to sleep. You must be tired."

But he cutely shook his head and said, "No. I am not tired."

I said, "Okay."

I was about to go to my room when he held my arm and I tripped and fell on his lap. I complained, "what are you doing Min-"

I was about to stand up when he grabbed my waist and said, "stop. I need to give you something."

He was hugging my waist as if it was his pillow. I was surprised and blushing at the same time. I didn't know what to do to this cute Minho in front of me. He looked very different. His hair is messed up and his serious face is nowhere to be found. He seemed more relaxed.

I replied, "okay, let me sit on the sofa."
He nodded and removed his arms. I sat on the sofa beside him.

Then he suddenly hugged me and I was flustered. I said, "What are you-" I couldn't complete my sentence as I felt something on my neck. It was a pendant. He moved away and I noticed a beautiful star pendant around my neck. It had a silver star with a pink stone inside.

I touched it and said, "It's so pretty!"

Minho looked at my face and said, "Yes, you are so pretty."  He smiled adorably.

I blushed at this. Why is he acting so cute? I thought.

"Yeah, I wore this dress which Emily gave to me. Thanks to that, I look pretty today." I said.

He shook his head, "No, no. no. You look pretty in your normal attire."

I smiled he is acting so adorable. "Does this mean I don't look pretty in this dress?" I wanted to tease him a bit more.

He shook his head, "No you don't look pretty in that dress. I wanted to cover you up with my coat when I first saw you."

I looked at him with a surprised look and said, "What? Do I look so ugly?"

He smiled and said, "No, You look hot in that. You looked damn hot. I don't want anyone to fall for you in that dress. You looked so attractive. You know, how much control you need to have? "

He thinks I am hot. He thinks I am hot. I was on the seventh heaven. No Sarah Focus. He thinks I am hot!!!!
Wait a minute. Why doesn't he want anyone to fall for me?  I thought.

I asked, "why-" But he suddenly stood up and said, "do you know how much I wanted to..."

I asked, "what?"

He sat back and looked at me. "I want to do that dare with you."

I asked "which dare?"

"that cake one, crea-!" He pointed to the cake. He was about to stand up but I grabbed his hand and he sat back.

I knew he is drunk talking.  I stood up and told him to go to sleep. He lied down but then he grabbed my hand and made me lie down beside him.

He opened his eyes and caressed my cheek. We were looking into each other eyes. He asked with sadness in his voice, "why do you like him?"

I asked, "who?"

He replied, "That brown guy"

I had no answer to that so I said, "You are drunk Minho. Sleep."  I was about to sit up but he stopped me.

"No. I am not drunk. I know who you are. You are Sarah and I have been looking at you the whole day while trying to stop myself." He said.

"Stop yourself? What did you stop yourself from doing?" I asked with a confused look.

He suddenly drew near and kissed me on my lips.

My eyes went wide.

He replied, "This." And smiled.

I was too shocked to move and then he kissed me again but this time it was so passionate that I closed my eyes. He wrapped his arms around my waist and drew me closer. He was so close. I could feel our heartbeats increase. He continued to kiss me and It felt so good that I forgot to stop him.

Then suddenly I heard some noise from the Balcony and thought that Emily might have come out of her room so I quickly stood up. Minho was drunk and fell asleep.
I quickly ran to my room.
