Delila's POV

The room went dead silent, Hadrian looked at me with a blank expression, though his eyebrow raised in hidden amusement. Griphook watched the scene before him with wide eyes, completely horrified whilst Death was staring down at me with a large smirk.

"Why, thank you, sweetheart" He commented with a wink, making me grin with a nod. I had never been one to think before I spoke and at times, it had gotten me in trouble whilst others, found it quite refreshing and entertaining.

"If you don't mind, can we get back to what the plan will be?" Griphook commented, gaining our attention once again. I smiled apologetically and nodded my head, death strolled towards the desk where a chair appeared out of thin air, he took a seat and leaned back.

"First thing first, you need a lot of training because of your powers and if I'm being quite honest, you won't be ready by the time you are meant to attend Hogwarts" Death announced in a business-like tone, I instantly froze at the thought of not being about to attend the school that my parents and family had gone. Hadrian seemed to feel the same way because he kept glancing between Death and me with wide eyes.

"W-What?"

"Maybe not for the first few years but you have nothing to worry about, you'll learn a lot more from me and once you have learnt to control your powers, you'll be able to attend" His reassurance calmed me down slightly but I hated the thought of not being able to visit our castle for a while. Death must have noticed our downcasted expressions before he let out a sigh and turned his body more in our direction, gaining our full attention.

"You'll be able to visit the castle whenever you want, once you learn to shadow walk and to detect and control the wards" Our faces lit up instantly, making him shake his head with a deep masculine chuckle.

"First thing we need to do is get you untraceable wands. Don't want the ministry to get involved, do we?" we shake our heads in reply.

We spent the next hour or so coming up with a plan. Death will accompany us to knockturn alley, where we will be collecting our wands and any books that will help us with our training. Then, we will be going to Diagon Alley to buy a whole new wardrobe and any other equipment we may need before deciding which property to live in. Though we were leaning more towards Potter manor, where generations of Potters, along with uncle Sirius had lived at one point. The home had the perfect wards, centuries-old and yet, remains extremely powerful when rebooted with a little of our magic.

It was after we received a special credit card that could work in both the muggle world and the wizarding world, did we make our way out of Gringotts. We spent the next four hours shopping, I was rather excited but by the end, my feet were hurting and all I wanted to do was go to the manor and relax.

"Are we done yet?" I whined as I followed close behind my brother and death, who were busy chatting about Merlin knows what. They glanced over their shoulder with an amused smile.

"We just need one more thing and then we will make our way home" Death reassured with a chuckle, making me groan but nod my head and followed them nonetheless.

It was another hour later when Death decided enough was enough. We had placed everything in both of our brand new trunks and shrunk them down, putting them in our pockets so it's easier to travel.

"How are we getting there?" Hadrian asks as death leads us to an empty alley, out of the way of any onlookers.

"You can use any of your rings as a way to transport, just push some of your magic into the specific ring and say which property you want to go to. It should apparate you straight there" Myself and Hadrian looked down at our rings in awe, not expecting it to be anything else other than simple jewellery that represented our family.
