A lot has happened in the short amount of time leading up to the Yule break. Tyran and Travis' parents were both arrested and put on trial for child abuse and neglect, which the Potter twins made sure to be present for and were happy to leave the courtroom knowing the monsters wouldn't ever leave Azkaban. No one had ever seen two young children so thrilled to have their parents locked away, and Minerva, Sirius, Remus and Severus organised a little celebratory dinner in the room of requirement for the large group in honour of the boy's freedom.

It was now the day they would be leaving for yule break and the twins had offered their group of friends to celebrate the holidays with them at Potter manor. Sirius and Remus instantly accepted, looking forward to returning to the home they spent most of their school holidays. The Malfoys and Matteo would be spending the morning at Malfoy manor before flooing over for the rest of yule. The Weasley twins along with Hermione and Luna would be arriving the day after Yule whilst Theo, Blaise, Adrian, Neville and his grandmother had accepted the invitation to stay for the entire break. Severus and Minerva had to, unfortunately, decline, wanting to keep tabs on the headmaster whilst the heirs were away from the castle. The new addition to the family, Travis and Tyran were overjoyed to be spending their first real Yule with their new siblings.

"Come on, Hatchlings, eat up otherwise we will be late for the train," Delila said, sipping her morning coffee which was a new addition to the house tables. They have been making small changes to the castle, in hopes that it will be much easier for the children and staff to get used to. The meals were the first to change. They were less greasy and had a wider range of healthier options, along with muggle dishes and even some from other counties. The elves were over the moon and were close to tears at the fact they could expand their cooking skills, according to the eldest elf, Yippy, he had been heartbroken when Dumbledore had changed the menu when he became headmaster.

"I'm full" Travis whined as he pushed away his plate. He and Tyran had grown more confident as time went on, at first they were always so fearful that anything they said would result in a beating. Thankfully, the twins and the rest of the close-knit group had shown them that if they misbehave, there would be consequences but not as severe as a beating, more like... Tidying their rooms or not having any dessert after their meals. This calmed down Tyran immensely, who had often slipped into being a little whenever he thought he would be punished harshly.

"Perhaps we can bring some onto the train and if you get hungry on the journey, you can snack on it" Hadrian suggested and it seemed the boys loved the idea because once Delila had summoned two lunch boxes, they began to pile a variety of different foods into it. The group watched in amusement, shaking their heads fondly at the youngest of the group.

"Everyone who is leaving for the holidays, please make your way down to the carriages" Those who were leaving, stood up and made their way out the doors. The twins, along with the group went to follow but were stopped by Dumbledore, who appeared in their path.

"My dears, I suggest you return to the Dursleys for the holidays. It's where you'll be safe" Delila and Hadrian glanced at one another before bursting into laughter, the group watched in amusement and noticed the headmaster was growing angry at the clear disrespect that was shown.

"This is not a joke, you will be in danger if you do not return-"

"I'm going to have to stop you there Albus, we haven't been to Privet Drive for just over four years. If we were truly in danger, we would have been dead, now if you excuse us, we have a train to catch" with that, they left the headmaster standing in the middle of the aisle, shaking with anger.

The professors at the main table watch the scene with hidden delight, they had known for many years that the headmaster was ruining the reputation of the school and using his many titles for his benefit or the so-called 'greater good'. It was such a welcomed difference to see someone or in this case, people put him in his place.
