CHAPTER 2

WILL POV
9:26 AM.

When I woke up Mike was still sleeping. He looked peaceful and really pretty just laying there..as usual of course I was pretty disappointed because he wasn't sleeping next to me.

I wish it could be spring break for a lot longer, because as soon as we go back, so do Troy and James. They bully me a lot I've had my fair share of slurs thrown my way, they've just become a daily annoyance though. Just ignore them and they go away, At least Jane was having a better experience in school. She is one of the popular kids. She doesn't know about the bullying, I didn't want to tell her. It would make her worry Mike doesn't know about me getting bullied either, so I guess it's just me, there is no point in telling anyone because-

My thoughts get cut short by the sound of Mikes voice  Saying "Good morning Will!" He says while doing a stretch. I say it back of course, then my eyes flick over to my painting on my desk. Mike seems to notice where I'm looking and hops up and runs over to where my painting is and proceeds to say "Can I see it?" It's very surprising he wants to see it, I say "Sure it's not that good anyways." Mike gives me a reassuring look that says "I'm sure it will be great."

MIKE POV

When I was opening the painting my expectations weren't that high. But when I opened it I was astounded.

It was an exact replica of the place the party used to love going to. The forest near the high school, there was a abandoned tool shed in the forest near the high school. We always played D & D there. It looked exactly like it! I was so focused on the painting Will had to get my attention by saying "Do you like it Mike..?"

"Do I like it?! I love it!" I said with the hugest grin on my face.

I walked over to Will on the bed and threw my arms around him with no hesitation, being careful not to damage the painting of course. "I can't believe you remembered every little detail of that place!" I soon register what I'm doing and my face heats up and I take a step back, "I actually had to sneak back in to the forest to do the painting."

He says casually. "Well, it's an amazing painting Will! Can I keep it?"  "Oh uhm, of course!" I say thank you and put it in my bag for safe keeping.

MIKE POV

Me and Will make plans to meet up with everyone, Steve, Eddie and Robin are picking us, Jane and Max up in fifteen minutes and we're all going to the arcade! The entire party.

It's been a while since all of us have hung out together so it was exciting.

AT THE ARCADE
WILL POV

I was very happy about how much Mike loved the painting he even hugged me!

The party was sitting down drinking milkshakes and chatting we didn't say anything about Max and Janes relationship. Steve and Eddie were talking next to the counter and Robin was talking to Nancy.

I didn't even know Nancy came here.
